Game of Thrones | Season 8 | Official Trailer (HBO) and episode one synopsis

The ability of dragon fire to destroy castle walls is in the canon of GOT. When dragons first came to Westeros, Aegon Targarrian destroyed Harrehal, the largest castle in the realm. In the Burning of Harrenhal, Aegon used his dragon Balerion to roast King Harren and all of his sons alive within...

Game of Thrones | Season 8 | Official Trailer (HBO) and episode one synopsis

There is a big difference between a drone and a plane being piloted. Remember, when the Night King through a staff and both times scorpions were shot at Drogo it was Dany that piloted him out of the way. The other dragons were killed when they didn't have pilots controlling them.

    Zero Distortion: Tango Time

The KL is the single best investment I've made as a record collector. I seldom use my stylus cleaner and gave away my static gun.

The best State or region for Audiophile

I lived there from 2003 - 2008. In 2008 we had a one moth summer.......so I moved. But.......my record collection quadrupled and I got turned a lot of great audiophiles in the PNW. I was introduced to LAMM equipment and the best of vintage (Micro Seiki, SME 3012R, Tannoy, etc.)

    KeithR's "Dream Speaker" Search

I'm not an expert but I believe that you trade sound stage depth for better dispersion when you go from a proper horn to the wave guide. My old Avantgardes had a deeper sound stage, but you had to sit perfectly "head in vise" to get this sound stage. I personally found which I found annoying as...

    KeithR's "Dream Speaker" Search

It was a great visit Keith, thank you for making the time. Unfortunately that Daft Punk Tron soundtrack is a must have and cost me over $100 on eBay. I hope you like the Mercury Mozart record, let me know how it sounds on your system.

    The Return of Garrard!

member of What's Best Forum are preoccupied with the best, how ironic. I recommend that you check out the excellent systems on this forum that are using the SME 3012R. I also recommend the use of paragraphs, they work great!

    The Return of Garrard!

You've obviously not been following some of the best systems on this forum. While the arm on the new 301 is not a 3012 (it's a M2-12R), the 3012R has proved it can hold its own with many modern arms including the SAT.

    The Return of Garrard!

Shindo has sold many of their 301's at $24,000. One method of establishing price is based on what you can sell and item for. Based on what Shindo has been able to sell a refurbished 301 for, SME's price is quite realistic. https://www.dagogo.com/shindo-301-turntable-review/

What are the Rules of Thumb to Mate Tube Amps with High Efficiency Speakers for Maximum Musicality?

I thoroughly enjoy Keith's modern Audio Research amp on his box speakers. I believe that VAC and VTL also make some great high power amps that work on box speakers quite well.

American Sound AS-2000 Installations- Far East (Tango)

The Asian market is the most interesting to me. Audiophiles are mixing the best of vintage (Micro Seiki, Tannoy, JBL, TAD, WE, SME) and modern (Airtight, Audio Note, Wilson,Cessaro). All of these music lovers are pushing the envelope to achieve the absolute sound; whatever the absolute sound...

A day with Mani and his Tune Audio Animas horns

Very nice listening room. I found that the Nelson Pass First Watt designs sounded excellent with my Avantgardes. I'm not surprised that this is a great sounding combo.
