Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I'm finding something a little different, I'm having to have to restart my services for XDMS after 5 or 6 songs have played. The player seems to stop playing until I restart the two services in task manager.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

First, I would like to thank Ed for jumping on early this morning with me to install XDMS! Secondly, I'm extremely impressed with the SQ of the new app! To me, the sound is more rounded and has more texture. Meaning less 2D and more 3D, it's like the notes have more space. I guess the best way...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I think your correct. I think we need to have the app installed on the server. I know I haven't done that not have I had anyone one from Taiko do a TeamViewer as of yet. I think that's the missing piece at least for me. Thanks everyone for the clarification.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Hi always learning, I'm not sure I this will help but this is what I do... I use soundiiz.com and I export my roon playlist to a xls file, then I import it into sounding and let it convert it to qubuz and Tidal. Then I queue it up in TAS and save it as a playlist... lot of steps but it would be...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Hi Mike, I had the impression from MSB's tech info that the modules were isolated, looks like they may have some cross talk after all. I wonder if other modules such as the spdif model would drop noise floor as well or maybe grounding those modules not in use? Thanks for sharing

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

I know that SQ is the #1 priority right now but I was wondering if spotify connect & tidal connect would make it to TAS? I only ask because I sometimes like to find new music via spotify as I like their algorithm for suggesting new music.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Hi, I have a clarification question, if I could. I went back and read the post in the MSB owns section of WBF and I get this part just fine. But what I have not been able to determine is the following: could I have the same SQ using TAS if I went ISL directly from the SGM Extreme to the MSB...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Hi, I can't wait to get added to the beta but I have a question. I see a lot of discussion centered around the SQ with the USB DRIVERS. I do not use USB but I use a ethernet "Sablon" cable via the M12 Switch Gold. Can I expect similar improvements as those using thr USB cables with the new TAS...

Hi Marcin, Can you re-send if possible? I checked my junk mail but I'm not seeing it. The last email I received was on the 11/26 stating that you should be receiving the cables that day. Unfortunately I don't see anything after that, advising that you have received them and if and when it...

New to Turntables - Looking for advise

Thanks for the reply bonzo75... you are right. It's so hard to do a comparison these days as components and the synergy between them makes a big difference. You are right, in the end it was the sound that I like, which I used for my assessment rather then the components. Once I found the sound...

Hi all, thought I would provide a follow up from my quest to learn more about my Analog setup. My hope is that it might help other newbies like I. I decided to address my issue holistically. So I first asked myself, what am I looking for? What sound am I trying to achieve? As a reference...

Agreed, their is definitely a lot to understand about having a niece Analog rig. My goal is not to fall into a trap of blinding going in and purchase something but rather, get myself more informed. That way, when I go into a store, I have a better idea of what I'm looking for, rather then...
