    nice, thanks for the info! i also use Sien super long bearing, which allows me to mass load the platter with layers of copper/ceramic/duralumin etc. completely transforms the deck into a beast :) pls keep us posted on your new slate plinth.

    Very nice slate plinth @Robert. Is this by OMA? Lenco in slate is also one of my fav decks, but mine is much more spartan.

    my trial with SET + vintage drivers in open baffle... silent background with pin-point image, super fast sound and very clear instrument separation that my previous systems be it with magico/wilson/sf cannot match... downside - low to very low listening volume depending on complexity of music.

    Have been using them in a tube buffer for a long time. Was thinking if I should build an amp out of it, the rarity part is not of my concern I don't collect tubes. Datasheet per the link above.
