    Magico M9

Better video than I could have made but still nowhere near the real room experience with the M9. Stunning speakers I think....as they should be....

Zero Distortion: Visit to Rhapsody Dallas

Scroll down the specifications on this page. It is indeed a push pull unless their website is incorrect. Sounds like push pull to me. https://www.audionote.co.jp/en/products/power_amplifier/gakuoh2.html

Zero Distortion: Visit to Rhapsody Dallas

Correction. I have never been a Boulder, Soulution or CH dealer. I owned Boulder 1000 then 2000 series including phono stages and dacs for over a decade. Recently experienced the 3060 and 2110 on 3 separate occasions at a customer's home. I owned Soulution 500/700 for about the same amount...

    Stromtank........

I have tested the output voltage of my torus 5 times. Every single reading has been 121v. I believe a 5v difference will shut the unit down. Mine are whole room units. I cannot comment on the "conditioners" as I have no experience with them.

You have that correct on the RD Acoustics. There is 1 on each opposing wall with inverse patterns as prescribed by RD.

    Rhapsody.Audio Listening Rooms

The kaiser wall panels in the Alsyvox room function as simply general broadband absorption to cut down on overall room echo/delay. As Bob said, we are moving speakers in and out all the time with different dispersion patterns and these were effective but not obtrusive and lend to the overall...

    Kawero speakers from Kaiser Acoustics

What I hear with Pilium is better timbre which results in a more realistic natural sound that can only be rivaled by very well executed tube amps. Quieter, I’m not sure. Musical yes. This being said, I haven’t listened to pilium on the kaisers. That being said, I don’t and can’t (like most or...

    Rhapsody.Audio Listening Rooms

Peter, the ceiling treatment was a bear..... There are 9 panels that run combined approx. 27' long x 9' wide. I'd guess the total weight of all would be close to 1500#. This was all over 12' in the air so man lifts had to be brought in for fabrication. There are 2 rooms in the building...

    Audio Critique

Darn it! Now you've got me wondering how the Vyger RS combo would sound on the Kondo system with Diesis Roma Triode. Some day I guess.

    Audio Critique

With a system this complex, and likely unknown contributors, it would be impossible to get a handle on a specific cartridge or TT contribution to the chain. I can also run the Kondo Ginga with Koetsu Onyx Platinum into the room. You could A/B the two of those vs. digital etc... Then again...

You got me... I'm slow today.....

    Chronosonic XVX.

I should have the opportunity rather soon to hear the XVX in a friends home. I have the M9 in showroom. Apples and oranges systems though. My thoughts may not carry too much weight as I have a vested interest in Magico. I will, however, try to be as objective as possible. I'm sure the XVX...

Buyer Beware: Dennis Foley and Acoustic Fields

I promised I would reply back with my results/dealings with Acoustic Fields as I had originally commissioned him to do a 2 room showroom for Rhapsody.Audio DFW. I should have trusted my instincts from the very first phone call. "This is Dennis. Go ahead" is how he answered the phone every time...

Buyer Beware: Dennis Foley and Acoustic Fields

I just began design with him last week. Mine is a DIY room project into a commercial space (room within a concrete/steel shell building) rather than a complete custom build by his team. Will inform the community of the outcome.

    Magico M9 >>>>Fulfillment

I cannot vouch for pillium yet... however, all can be entitled to their own opinion on their sound right next to the statement kondo amps and preamps at the DFW RLR in about 2 mo. I have both the kaguras and gakuon (300b) amps with the G series preamps. We can even throw them on the m9s(or a...

    Kaiser Kawero Classic

I personally love them, but I wrote the check for them as well. I have them in an all Kondo system very similar to what is shown at Munich albeit in a much smaller room. They are not speakers that are going to blow you away with their dynamics or resolution. While I feel they have both...
