Aries 3D with Benz Micro Low Freq oscillations in my JL 113's

Ah, thanks for sharing, so you got the 12" tonearm with the Aries? I was originally going with the Prime Signature as well, but decided to follow the same path as you.

Aries 3D with Benz Micro Low Freq oscillations in my JL 113's

Is this happening with your Prime or the Aries? Where is your turntable located relative to the speakers/Subs? Behind, next two, across the room? p.s. what were the other unannounced updates you got with your Aries? I ask as I am ordering one as well.

    KR 242, Elrog 300, px4, px25, EML and KR 5u4g, and KR 274b

Interesting, at least in the guitar amp world, rectifiers last significantly longer than output tubes. Same with the pair of 300B amps I had, much longer life span than the 300Bs, are they used differently in this instance? Innocent question, thanks!

    Giya Owners

I own G3s. I have had them since last year. I still love them to death. If that is possible with a speaker. No regrets, no remorse, no upgrade-itis. My significant other LOVES their look. In fact she wanted G2s, but based on feedback from Philip O ( who is in his own right a wonderful...

I'm Not Gonna Tell How Great My MicroRendu plus Sonore Signature Power Supply Sounds!

Wonderful sounding device, were it not for Devialet releasing AIR3 in the past two weeks I would still have mine. As fate would have it, AIR 3 offered equal audio quality to the microRendu.

Michael will you be trying this combo with your G3s at some point as well?

    Mola Mola Makua Pre-DAC

Hello Michael - is your Makua configured with both the internal DAC and an internal Phono stage? Sorry it seems based on your post title that it is at least the former, but just wanted to double check. I have been very curious as to the quality of the DAC and/or phono stage, so looking forward...

    Vivid Giya G3

Hello - I am happy with the bass I am getting from the G3's and do not use Subwoofers. Not sure where you are located but if in US I have found Philip a helpful person to bounce questions off of in regards to the Vivid Audio line. Please note that there are others who have the G3s and use...

    Vivid Giya G3

The guidance I received from Philip O'Hanlon, whom I trust is the following, to put this in context I have a room that is ~13.5 Feet wide by 23 feet deep with 9 foot ceiling. For my room his recommendation was the G3, like you I was willing to spend extra for the G2. He recommends at least a...

    Organizing your music collection

XLD for the Mac can manage and split those Flacs for which you have CUE files. Yate is also a great tool to use to help tag your music library. Free trial is available. As noted no need to convert from FLAC to WAV.

    Vivid Giya G3

Interesting, thanks for sharing all that information. Mine were setup by the dealer and Philip. Set up differently than yours but than my room is very different with openings on the left side to the living room and kitchen. So I am not saying my setup is anything other than different. Dimensions...

Review of Roon Media Player and Server

Michael - Yeah I love it too, been using it since about day one, and I went with the Tidal integration as well which I found a wonderful manner to discover new music and "expand" my collection. Your point regarding Tidal and Radio is dead on, a natural extension of the integration of the two...

Review of Roon Media Player and Server

There are quite a number of enhancements planned for the Radio function, including playing Tidal content that has not been added to your library. At the current moment I suspect the primary focus is on RAAT (RoonReady) and RoonSpeakers. Some snippets from the Room Community on the Radio...

    Vivid Giya G3

Thanks Michael. I was fortunate as well to receive guidance from Philip on the correct size Giya for my room as well. In fact due to a number of circumstances, he even assisted the dealer in the installation. Lucky me to say the least, as you are probably aware he has great taste in music. The...

    Shishito Peppers anyone?

They work well too if you toss some garlic cloves in the pan with the olive oil first. Brown the cloves then toss in the peppers. And at the end, after they are plated, toss some feta cheese on top
