    New Repro cards!

Unfortunate, but I understand. If things change in the future and you are able to do A8xx cards, let me know.

    New Repro cards!

Since the solution for A8xx machines will be a “generic” one (using the A80 cards), am I correct that this would mean that the headblock amplifier stage will need to be bypassed and direct outputs (from the playback head) and inputs (from the record head) would need to be routed somehow directly...

    New Repro cards!

I was just wondering if you‘ve made any decision on the direction you plan to take for A8xx machines. Also if the mid to late 2023 timeframe is still what you anticipate. Thanks!

    New Repro cards!

I shall look forward to seeing what you come up with. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.

    New Repro cards!

I’m likely interested in 1 or 2 sets of the A820 cards. From my perspective, the closer they can be to a direct plug-in replacement, the better. The convenience of having multiple EQs and speeds easily available is a really nice feature which ideally would be maintained. However I presume that...

    New Repro cards!

You can add me to the “might be interested in zeel outputs” list too.

    New Repro cards!

I’d also be interested in cards for the A820. And if the zeel interface was an option, that wouldn’t be a bad thing.

darTZeel NHB-468 mono blocks in my system

Congratulations Mike. Remind me to never listen to 468s so I don't decide that my 108 is completely inadequate ;)

    New 468 monos

Mike, thanks for sharing that. It was interesting and useful (a least to me). I have a 108 waiting to be used once our renovations are complete. I’d also like to add my congratulations on the 468s to the others that have already been posted. I’m looking forward to reading your impressions on them.

    New 468 monos

While it’s part of your system, I’d be interested in hearing what you think of 108 in comparison to the 458s. I know you had one before but now you have years of experience with the monoblocks for reference.

    How satisfied?

That would be great; I'll look forward to it. Sadly it's going to be some months until my system is "listenable". We are in the midst of what has turned into a major renovation of an older home. There's some space earmarked for a listening room, but because the renovation is waaaay behind...

    How satisfied?

GallantListener: Welcome to WBF. I'm really looking forward to seeing the details about your newly built room when you have a chance to share them (especially since you indicate that you are 100% satisfied with it). I'm somewhat familiar with your previous room from reading your posts about it...

    WTB: Studer A820

And while I’m at it I’d like to buy a 1Kg block of unobtanium and a full set of hen’s teeth. Ok, I’m kidding about those two but I am actually interested in an A820 so in the unlikely event that you know of one that’s for sale, please PM me. Thanks, Kevin

    WTB: Ayre QA-9

If you have one that’s looking for a new home send me a PM. I ‘m looking for the Pro version (with DSD output) so I’d prefer one that already includes it, but since it’s possible to have a “standard“ version upgraded I will consider those as well.
