in essence, the Muon is neutral, very clear, detailed and overall balanced. The Sablon is more bass heavy and somewhat colored.
Personal preferences I guess.
I have a NA Muon USB (since two years) and have also a Sablon EVO USB (since a month).
I'm going back and forth, but the cable that consistently remains in my system is the Muon. In fact, I think I'll be selling the Sablon soon (even though a very good cable).
Hi Luca, you can try Sean Jacobs (mailto:custom.hifi.cables@gmail.com) for bespoke MSB and Innuos Statement umbilicals.
He did both for me, using Mundorf S/G wire.
You’d be very pleased with the results.
Hope that helps
Stefano
The Muon has now completely opened up. Very transparent but without loosing that organic sound. Bass is tighter and slam is better too.
I did try to demo the Evo but funny enough Mark has demo units all over the world, except for where he lives i.e. UK…
Do you mean to use the MSB PRO I2S (ethernet) connector (that can output its clock signal) to connect it to the switch?
The only clock connections to switches that I see are BNC, such as in my Uptone EtherRegen.
Can you elaborate on this please?
