Network Acoustics - Tempus network switch

To me it looks like Innuos makes the switchboard by them self.

I dont own any Taiko products but still follow this thread and have a question to you Emile @Taiko Audio Is it possible to also use DAC cable from router to switch? Made a quick drawing to simplify what I mean, feel free to comment if it is possible and if it is a good solution :)

    Innuos Statement: Nextgen vs Non-Nextgen

The cables that your picture show is not from Innuos the new Nextgen model ships with the same cable as the regulare one. Perhaps they are from a third-party manufacturer. Sean Jacobs the man who designs the PSU for Innuos builds umbilical cables with Mundorf silver/gold wire and according to...

    Innuos Statement: Nextgen vs Non-Nextgen

Are you sure they change the toroid and supply new cables? The regulare Statement also have a 540VA toroid. When I asked about the new design this was the replay and it is from a source that knows what he is talking about. "The only original parts left of the standard PSU are the case and...

A new star in 2019 : Innuos Statement Server

The NEXTGEN Statement have new regulator cards that uses the newer modules from Sean Jacobs. The Power section uses two custom-designed ARC6 AC/DC modules – each containing a new high-precision Active Rectifier board, a massive 10mH DC Choke and almost 4 times more capacitance provided by six...

    TAD D1000-TX, DA1000-TX

I tried both C2000 and C600 with my D1000mk2, to my ears the C2000 did not add much the C600 was another thing. I decided to upgrade my D1000mk2 to the new DA1000TX instead that made more sense in my system with no other sources than my streamer.

    TAD D1000-TX, DA1000-TX

I have listened to many different systems at my dealer and also different electronics in my system driving TAD speakers but have most of the time thought that TAD driving TAD sounds the best :)

    TAD D1000-TX, DA1000-TX

My phone takes really bad pictures when the light is bad but here's a picture of my rack. As I wrote the silver DA1000 will be replaced by a black one in the spring.

    TAD D1000-TX, DA1000-TX

I dont use the CD/SACD player so no need for me to get a D1000TX. I just bought a D1000mk2 over the DA1000 a few years ago as it was available in black but today you can get both models in both silver or black so it was a easy choice now and my dealer had a DA1000 that I could borrow until my...

    TAD D1000-TX, DA1000-TX

To my ears there are, better detail seperation and bit larger soundstage. This will for shure be system dependant but I got a really good deal on the trade in so not much to think about and I only use USB and most of the work TAD have done is on the USB input.

    TAD D1000-TX, DA1000-TX

I traded in my D1000mk2 and now have a DA1000-TX on loan from my dealer until my own black DA1000 arrives (the black ones are built on order). Run it with Innuos Statement server, TAD M2500 and TAD CE-1 really enjoying the sound it produces :)

The studio bought TAD CR1 in 2013. Here is a link to some more info about the studio and the dealer that sold the TAD speakers. It's in Swedish so you have to translate it. https://www.ljudochbild.se/nyheter/hi-fi-2/akta-ljud-i-musikstudion/ In 2013 there was just one dealer that sold TAD in...

When I got Qobuz I used a VPN account so it looked like I was in England when the account was opened and I did the payment with PayPal this have worked for more than a year without any problem. Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Well this was not something I made up if that is what you think. I did not write that it is a good thing to not connect a shield but non the less a foilshield that is not connected at any end will still work so 30 MHz and higher frequency signals cannot penetrate the shield. This article is...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

That is not correct. @MarkusBarkus is right that a shield will work even left unconnected but it will not work in the same way as if it is connected in both ends. A shield left unconnected on both ends will still attenuate higher-frequency signals because of the low-pass filter formed by its...

TAD D1000 Mk 2, to buy or not to buy

TAD is right now in the middle of upgrading the Reference series from 600 to 700 so I think a new D1000 is far away, TAD is not known for upgrading often. If there comes a new D1000 the old one will still be a great player/DAC. This only happens if the track has different bit depth or...

Best Playback Software: Roon, Euphony, Audionirvana, HQPlayer...??

Because dCS also works as a Roon endpoint. Both Mosaic and Roon can be active in a dCS machine so it is easy to switch between them and compare them. I use both but mostly Roon.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

@CDub the card in the Extreme is just a regulare network card with a SFP port it has nothing to do with ISL that MSB uses. The ISL solution is something that just works between MSB products so you need both the ISL card in the DAC and the box that converts USB to ISL.

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Is that modelnumber correct, cant find it anywhere? I thought it was FTLF1318P3BTL? Regarding fibercable a singlemode cable often have a attenuation around 0,35dB per Km so 1m of cable will attenuate the signal with 0,00035dB and 10m with 0,0035dB. If you want to get a high quality fibercable...

    Melco S100 audiophile switch

That depends if the switch have a SFP port it is always max 1Gb it has to be SFP+ to be more than that like 10Gb. SOtM, Uptone and Melco all have SFP ports so they only support SFP modules that are max 1Gb.
