Hi, Both the Auva for speakers and EQ have the same positive effect on the music. They not only makes music more detailed and musical but they also tighten up what you hear. I really like them.
Thats my fear too that some of these filters are negative for the dynamics. I guess thats what you mean my "compressed"? Anyway what is the difference between Qsine and Qwave apart from that the Qwave is a bit more expensive? Was the Qsine require any burn in?
Thank you :)
Maybe, I really like Stack audio and their footers. My objective is always to try and hear for my own first so. I am also waiting for a new switch from Lucas audiolab and an upgraded server. So maybe I will be quite satisfied for a while:)
The smooth lan could still be a contender in this area of price segment. But hoping it would be in the Muon pro level is to hope for the impossible. Hans said "you get what you pay for". But in my situation who already have a Muon pro it can do some help to some degree.
Yes but on the "full" version of Muon pro you also get the best LAN cable in that package. I "only" have the version with the pigtail cable included on my Muno Pro and instead use a Sablon audio Lan at that end. But it would be interesting if you MacF could try the smooth LAN with another cable...
Thank you for your writing. Yes a good network filter seems to do much. I have the network acoustics Muon pro which costs a lot more. I think a network filter is a good alternative to a second or third switch and perhaps also fiberconverters.
Go for it! I believe you will be very pleased. I am heading in the minimax direction too. You get really good musical SQ with top notch support and the value is excellent. Have not heard Aurender but have heard good thing about them too.
If anyone has had the chance to compare it to other LAN filters? I have the network acoustic muon pro but this could be a great filter to add in the chain somewere else.
The "burn in" period is very puzzling. I bought a new amp (Allnic 1500mk2 and Sw1x lvl 3 DAC for around 3 month ago. And still I can hear differences more than the normal tube varmup period every time I switch on the Allnic. I have no answer to this but I suspect that the AC distribution is not...
Hello,
I am a bit intrigued by choosing a very sensitive speaker and combine it with low watt tube amplifier. Since I heard Tobian FH12 with a Jadis amp I fell in love with that beatiful and extremely musical sound that produces. So I wonder how the smallest HC10 performs, if anyone has...
After 16 days of my new mad scientist black magic ultra running in my system there has been ups and downs like always in burn in process. I can`t say how many hours but it seems that now it has opened up. Its a wonderful USB cable. Dynamic, clean , very quiet letting the music and the artists...
Delivery from New Zealand to Sweden was much faster than I expected. Now its here and I look forward to hear more as it burns in. But it sounds very good so far.
DL makes some good cables. Emerald is the entry level. Has anybody heard the Sapphire or Ruby wich are levels up from Emerald?
Sapphire is retailing for about the same as Sinope.
Beautiful! Having exactly the same with white logo on top. I really gets better with a higher grade powercable. I power both Mini and Pico from this PSU and thus having a David Laboga DC Y-cable. Lucas have set my PSU to 24 volt DC for both servers saying it sounds better. I trust him on that.
Thank you for your input.
I spoke to Lucas D about this a moment ago. He thinks both make sense if you can afford it. The reclocker has its important duty of reclock and remove noise while the cable itself flavours the sound to a more extent. So a combination of both.
What would you prefer?
A higher end USB cable like for example Shunyata Omega, Sablon EVO, FTA sinope vs a good reclocker like Innuos Phoenix USB reclocker or Ideon Mastertime together with 2 more basic USB cables. Have not tried this myself but wondering if possible cables itself has...
