The CH Precision firmware upgrades released on 29 Aug 2023

Didn’t hear anything obvious after the update. I also don’t have the X1.

Introducing the All-new Center Stage Ultra TT Feet for Turntables and Center Stage Ultra TD Feet for Tape Decks

Just wondering if the TT can be used under speakers. I know there is the LS version, but as the LS is very limited in application, if it doesn't work, then I would have to sell it. With the TT , I know I will be able to allocate it to another unit if needed.

    Upcoming Nagra turntable

Just don't feed the troll. If one cannot comprehend the simple concept of OEM, there's no point in further discussion with him/her.

Looking for a more organic dac

Hi Zappadaddy, Glad you loved the Tambaqui. I am going to demo the low gain version of the Aries Cerat Incito S when it becomes available. Not sure when as there is a part shortage, but definitely will come back and report my findings. But if you do get to try it before I do, please let me...

Looking for a more organic dac

Lampizator definitely are not noisy, probably bad tubes? I quiet like them when I heard them in a friend's system. But they are certainly not quiet like the Tambaqui though.... Tambaqui is ridiculously quiet. To be honest, I think tubes have their attraction. It's a personal taste thing...

Another vote for trying the Ayon.. Tried the S10 MK2 , it was very enjoyable, and has streamer built in, which would work well for OP.

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Probably difference between testing one or two sets on particular components. Steve's recent post has been about replacing his whole system with them. Steve now has 64 of them, that's definitely not "beta testing", lol

Looking for a more organic dac

And for people who have Tambaqui in their system. The footer (or lack of) on the Tambaqui is definitely something that can be improved. I am currently using CMS Centerstage 2 0.8 on them at the moment. The improvement on the dac is really an eye-opener. I am getting the just released CS2M in...

Looking for a more organic dac

Agreed. Chord Dave with Mscaler was really good, but definitely too expensive as a combo , considering the Tambaqui's pricing. However when heard in combination with Chord's pre , amp and full loom, definitely a fantastic combo. That's when it truly shines.

Looking for a more organic dac

I used Antipodes version of HQ Player. It's really well integrated inside Roon, but you do have to buy the HQ Player license. There's a setting in Roon , and it's very easy to direct the module to use the HQ Player integration. However, I found I personally preferred the Roon sound, and as I...

Looking for a more organic dac

You can also use Roon with HQ Player. The integration is very good. And there's a lot of filters to tailor the sound to what you like.

Looking for a more organic dac

I think tube warmth is good, as it does give harmonic distortion and a meatier sound but sometimes when we think we want more warmth, in fact we probably just want more resolution. I had a tube pre before, I have since moved to a transformer passive to pair with the Tambaqui. Mola mola tambaqui...

Looking for a more organic dac

You should also give Mola Mola Tambaqui a try. Definitely a more natural , organic sound compare to the Bartok. I auditioned both , and felt the Tambaqui was more organic and slightly more analogue sounding. Both Dac were great, DCS definitely not sterile or boring , it was just a bit too...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Not sure why my system is relevant. But I have entered it anyways. Depends on how you define sonic signature. The CS2 doesn't add color to a sound, it just reduces noise, and increases musicality. There's no analogue signals going through the footers. It doesn't add color to the sound. It...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Seriously, these footers are not Magico speakers. It's unlikely to break anyone's bank who visits Whatsbest forum. A set of these are much cheaper than most cables people here use. And there's the generous money back guarantee. They absolutely work magic for my system. I don't see why people...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Unless you use the exact sample speaker, same cable, have the space, same power, same hifi-rack, otherwise you are not hearing whatever the component maker is hearing. Does that mean you need to get the exact same setup as the component maker, in order to hear what the component really sounds...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Awesome, another Tambaqui buddy :) I have ordered a set of the 1.0 CS2M to upgrade under my Tambaqui which is now also using 0.8 CS2. Will report back once I receive them and when the sound settles.

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Which part of CS2 was 3 years ago, don't you get? Why you talking about 12 month again? Geez...I am out.
  19. delphi17

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

I believe they have a 30 day money back guarantee for your first set. Which is more than twice the 14 days required. You owe it to your great system to be proven wrong. You can contact your dealer directly to do that. I am sure you will be gobsmacked like I was. And probably even more so as...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

If you don't even know when it was announced? Why are you even arguing about this? It's easy enough to go back in the forum, and see Steve's first post about it.

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Centerstage 2 was released 2018, which is 3 years ago. Not sure where you got the 12-18 month from?

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

I will read it more carefully, and try to comprehend. However, I think the important thing is, what do you think Joe should have done? How could you have done better in this situation?

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

There's no such thing as a be-all, end-all product. If you believe in that, then we might as all just stop coming to this forum. And all equipment manufacturer should just stop innovating. End-game is the most silly thing I ever hear. That's why I only bought one set of 0.8, because I wanted to...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

World records are broken all the time, not necessary during Olympics. Ok, so what do you rather Joe do? Continue to sell an inferior product, knowing he has invented something that's clearly better. Or sell the improved product at an highly inflated price? Tell Joe, what will make you happy...
  25. delphi17

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

Agreed. That would be doing it backward. You buy the best component that you can afford, then you see if you could make it better by adding the footer. But if you are happy with the component, why worry about it? Same for cables or any other tweak. Footers are not any different. Not sure why...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

This is not CS2 modified, this is a totally different technology that Joe/CMS have learnt from the speaker footers. Joe and Steve have both been very clear about this. So, yes, the CS2 was not being capable of further improvement. Products get renewed all the time, it's not like CS2 will cease...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

A few component / speaker do use 3rd party footers for their products. Just to name three on the top of my mind. Isoacoustic are used on Martens. Isoacoustic are also used on Focal speakers. And staying close to our subject, Soulution uses CMS CS2 for their components. Not all component...

    Introducing Center Stage 2M

It's called being innovative and striving to be the best. Just like Olympic and World Record being broken all the time. It's best now, not best forever..

Center Stage2 "LS" Series Loudspeaker Feet

Hi Joe, Just wondering if you made any progress on this? As I am hoping to be able to use the LS0.8 on my ATC 100 Active which is on a stand. Thank you David.
