    QOBUZ - The hidden gems

Really enjoyed this thanks! Something in the same vein with great interplay IMO. Vinyl is demo quality. Little less refined. A touch more funk. https://open.qobuz.com/album/lkke8r6729roc

Do you have a favorite male singer?

Love many mentioned. Glad to see John Fogerty listed. Also John Kay and Burton Cummings from that ilk.

    Symphonie Fantastique/Munch/BSO 1954 Versus 1962

One of my favorites. It may lack flow and immersion of my other faves (Earlier Munch and Monteux) but for me it keeps my interest with its energy and passion. A worthy contrast. YMMV I don't have it on vinyl and my CD was remastered by Wilma Cozart Fine before they released the titles on SACD.

An Explanation of the Term "Suspension of Disbelief"

Personally to me Suspension of Disbelief (capitalized) is (was) a state where a change made to my system is so great I became astonished. Literally shaking my head and laughing. These came far and few between even in the beginning. I'm pretty much not astonished anymore. YMMV

What turntables do you use? Pictures would be nice as well :-)

Lovely TD125mk2! Ah memories...I used to have one as a second table w/ an SME series III and a Grace F9E back in the early 80's. For me I got more mileage dampening the underside of the arm board with Plasticene. YMMV

    Ron’s New System

Sheffield Labs did. They used the tape to press subsequent run(s) in their "Treasury" series. A far cry unfortunately sonically compared to the D to D (the repress not the tape). As such I don't have a copy but if I remember correctly they did explain the equipment and implementation. Unaware of...

Onzow Zerodust case is really solved?

If heat is the culprit I find the last comment most telling (don't know if it's proper to cut and paste this but here goes): "Equally important than expired Zerodust is using it right after a play. The heat on the stylus, much like the brakes on one's vehicle being used hard, will contaminate...

    WaxRax Vinyl Record Storage Racks

I originally designed the storage system in our condominium to maximize space usage. I needed to get seven rows wall to wall with an eight foot ceiling so records pretty much covered the entire wall. It was cinderblock concrete construction. I utilized (48) shelf brackets that support 600 pounds...

    Ron’s New System

Hi Ron. Amazing journey, thanks for sharing. Regarding toe in with planars my experience is opposite (sort of) with others leading me to believe there are no set rules. My first planars were Acoustat Monitor Fours. I preferred them toed in for image placement focus but that exacerbated the head...
