    Lamm ML3 + LL1, at last!

I heard all of the Lamm installations at CES for 10+ years. Lamm always had two rooms, one large room with his top electronics, and one smaller room with his second tier electronics. The ML2 and ML3 failed to drive the larger Wilson and Kharma speakers in the large rooms. Lamm always had the...

What are the Top Horn Speakers in the World Today? Vox Olympian vs Avantgarde Trio vs ???

He did get it wrong. The Hartsfield was designed to “fit” in the corner, but it doesn’t need the corner to compete the bass cabinet. And if you see the new KHorn, it also has a sealed back (not sides as you incorrectly stated) so you don’t need a corner.

It’s a shame you have to hide all of the beautiful gear!

What are the Top Horn Speakers in the World Today? Vox Olympian vs Avantgarde Trio vs ???

There are trade off's. One of the reasons I went for the JBL Hartsfields for my dedicated room is that the midcentry vibe of the speakers matches my furniture in the house.

What are the Top Horn Speakers in the World Today? Vox Olympian vs Avantgarde Trio vs ???

From what I've read, the Klipschorn was wildly successful and the JBL dealers were clamoring for a competitive offering.

What are the Top Horn Speakers in the World Today? Vox Olympian vs Avantgarde Trio vs ???

Actually not true regarding the Hartsfields. The Hartsfields have a completely sealed back and do not require a corner to extend bass. The Hartsfield is a unique patented design and is similar to the Tannoy Westminster's or Autographs. The Klipschorn and the Vitavox (Vitavox licensed the design...

    David Karmeli’s Bionor/Lamm/AS-2000 Audio System

Is it? From what I've read, it doesn't go above 8K. Wouldn't you call that a midrange compression driver? The one critique that I've consistently heard for two way vintage horns is that they lack top end "sparkle." I have listened to my three way JBL Hartsfields with the 076 horn tweeter...

    David Karmeli’s Bionor/Lamm/AS-2000 Audio System

I agree 100%, he stuck to his vision of recommending what he sold. When a member in a wheel chair asked David to recommend his favorite preamp with a remote, he recommended the non-remote controlled Lamm (which he sells) with interconnects long enough to reach his listening position.

I didn't see this post, as I have you on ignore. Someone alerted me to this post by you so I'm going to respond. I asked David for his opinions when he first joined WBF. Just like I've asked opinions of many people on this forum; I like to solicit opinions from multiple people, including you...

Some dealers actually support the site by purchasing ads. Some give “free advice” so they can trick the slow minded into thinking they are their “friend.” It’s a smart sales technique when dealing with rubes. Here’s a great quote from the Art of the Deal, a book written by a guy adept at...
