Except for the 2008 M156 6.3L. It was designed with a faulty head bolt. It stretches and allows coolant to seep into the block causing hydrolock without warning (personal experience). They replaced the bolts, didn't tell service to notify owners, and when it blew, tell owners "well, if only... -

My 1st car was a 77 Civic and I owned nothing but Civics for a bit (81 , 87) then 89 CRX Si. Loved the old Hondas...had nothing but them (88 Prelude 4WSi, 93 Prelude (forgot which model but had the VTEC-yo thing), 91 Integra. Hondas are great to drive! -

That may have been what you perceived but that's not how it can happen. It's all in the dyno graph. The 1st turbo gets out of breath when the vac lines start to open the gate to the 2nd one. So it dips a bit before both power up to 8k rpm. That's also why lots of inexperienced owners spin... -

That's not entirely true. In theory, the sequential twins is supposed to allow a more linear band but, in reality, it went to 4500rpm then dipped when the plumbing spooled the second turbo. That drop and subsequent ramp up in power caught a ton of unexpected owners off guard. Ahem. Going... -

Sadly, my Cayenne is too old to have the Burmester as an option. The Bose is OK but nothing to brag about. The kit comes pre-cut into 3 parts. IIRC, the outer ring goes around the front of the speaker; outside and not over the mounting holes. The middle ring goes on the back. And the inner circle goes on the door to kill off some standing wave. They have double-sided adhesive so one just sticks... -

installing 7 Furutech GTX-D NFC (R) outlets this morning
Thanks, DaveC. To be clear, I was inquiring about the outlet and not the plug. I have a 240V balanced transformer (RGPC) but I think the electrician just put a decent outlet there. Not even sure if it's a hospital grade (I should check to see if the dot is on there). Cheers. Sorry...- HedgeHog

I have a set for my desktop computer speakers. Not sure if it decouples or do the magic their web vids demonstrate (it might). For me, it's just to elevate the speakers to ear level. Audiostream.com recommends them too. Decent pricing. -H -
