I have my Soulution 710 power amp connected to the Puritan. The 710 has a Nominal power rating of 2.3KW. As I wrote you, the Puritan is not a Transformer like the Torus is. I suggest you to try the Puritan PSM156 connected to the Torus.
I use the output of the Isolation Transformer feed the Puritan via an Elrod PC. All the electronics are feed via the Puritan.
I didn't tried to plug only the Puritan on my system. I added the Puritan to a configuration where the Isolation Transformer was already installed. Adding the Puritan it...
Dear kingrex, I agree with you. I use an Isolation Transformer for my system, not insanely priced like Torus, but built by a manufacturer of medical high-grade isolation transformers to whom I gave my specs. I added the Puritan PM 156 to the output of the Isolation transformer. You can try it...
Sorry but you cannot compare Torus RM20 to Puritan. Torus is a great product but it is an isolation Transformer, Puritan is used as for mains purifier (as I use it connected to an isolation transformer).
Thank you.
Currently my system is off and unplugged. I will upload some pictures as soon as I will restore it.
Concerning the right amplifier to drive Apogee, I always seen coupled solid state amplifiers with high current gain. Apogee panels require a large amount of current to move properly...
I like it. I use it coupled to an Isolation Transformer .
I do not use Puritan’s power cable but an Elrod 20 A PC.
Puritan seems to give more body and definition of the details, increasing the perception of the harmonics around the instruments.
Thank you.
Ovet time I've not reintroduced any items which have been removed. the Diva loudspeakers need to be free by absorber panels. Just added the Puritan PSM 156 Studio Master Purifier.
added ionizer with truly effectiveness. Tested it with a friend which found audible differences, more alive (she asked if I’ve had incresed the volume), more defined bass.
Just to give you an idea...the electronics is like we used (years ago) into the system for Defence.
this card is the pre-amplifier card with the gain adjustment for both channels.
After many years, I'm back converted to the analog turntable...
This is my new jewel in my vintage analog corner.
it is an incredible machine that has made me re-evaluate the goodness of vinyl.
DIVA skinny???
I do not think they are skinny, if you see the woofer area is almost the same of Full Range.

and I can assure you that the Divas have more than decent bass. It all depends by the quality...
Diva are still a modern project and comparing to the insane pricing of today's speakers, seems a bargain.
integration with Totaldac-Soulution chain is perfect. Treble air and soundstage depth have a connection with the bass quality and depth, givin an uniform music flow which never exceeds.
however, these speakers continue to impress me for the dynamic contrasts, for the size and depth of the soundstage.
The sound is uniform, coherent, integrated in each of its harmonic components, not to mention of full body of orchestral tracks.
I must say that the Tympani I have in the office...
thank you,
before reading your reply, I was replacing the wheels with Soundcare Superspikes.
Mid-high are more open and harmonical, bass are more deeper. Thus allowing me to increment the distance between the tweeters (more than 8' ), maintaining the listening position distance at...
