The way I understand things the new hydra sigma and alpha products do not contain any QR at all but you need to step up to the Denali series to get that technology.
Don't think they'd show them at shows if they aren't close to release. Also things have a tendency to just show up on their website with no info or press release anywhere else.
Thank you, that's exactly the type of answer I was looking for!
I have it set up like you describe right now but I will definitely do some listening tests to see if I prefer 1 or 2 defenders.
Do you or anyone else know if the defenders are still useful if I should upgrade to a Denali or Triton...
So I have one venom defender right now that I use in the second outlet of my wall duplex, the other outlet feeding my power strip.
I feel like this first defender did some good, lowered the noise floor and the bass improved quite a bit. However, I just ordered a Shunyata PS8 package with the...
They are known for the quality of their cables which is exactly why I'm sure they wanna make the best product possible and not engage in some silly patriotic display but instead use the best contractors no matter where they are located.

Experience of other custom made platforms would be appreciated too, especially in the segment of <$1000.
Actually I think the model is still called Powerlink MM2 but it's now out in the MM2x version. At least that's what their website and the network boxes say but this is really an unimportant detail :p
Their top cable the powerlink MM2 is pretty good but I'm not at all impressed by the cheaper models and I feel like power cords has been Transparents least good product segment for quite some time now.
I would definitely have gone for a 170 if I'd known this before.
But oh well, time to send my D-Premier in for an upgrade I guess before they close down that option.
The new 7.1 software is now officially out on Devialet's website and they have also completely reworked the website.
It looks like the Devialet 250 has been discontinued??
Very sharp eyes there Mr. Moreno ;) It is indeed a RGC-24, it's a leftover from my old Krell-rig I don't know if it does any good on my Devialet but I have it connected to one of the empty RCA sockets and it goes down to the shelf below and sits on my Nordost Thor power conditioner.
