Got some new Vibbeaters recently for cheap in the used market, but it seems Entreq quality is slipping.
This, of course, is not from Enreq but a cheap knockoff from China, and I didn't buy it but seen it advertised in the used market, and it was advertised as a replica so the seller wansn't...
The Nano will be better, there is no doubt. But my Nano are all being used on top of power transformers on for LPS, AMP, and Power Conditioner. For me it's a tradeoff until I get more Nano (or perhaps something else)
I believe there is a difference however I have yet to determine if the difference is greater than if they are used in other places, and also if it matters if I use Nano instead of Magma slim. So further testing is needed. I don't currently have enough Magma and Nano to go around, so I am...
I guess these are ground on my box. I've been testing using Magma Tungten Slim near the circuits for the Music server room and listening room. Been using the ugly tape until I'm sure I want to keep them there.
Question for those of you with Magma footers using underneath electronics. Did you notice a settling time? We all know that connecting your electronics to a Entreq grounding box improves over time, but what about the footers? Do the electronics need time in order to properly settle on the...
Recently have discovered using a magma Tungsten footer underneath the LPS (powering the music server) near where the transformer is, was very good improvement. (Before only tried on top of the LPS) This discovery led me to try more things with the LPS. Placing mini-wraps around the DC cable...
Got 10 today and spot treated areas where I felt contributed to the most noise. Fridge circuit, AC circuit, computer room, put one on the hepa air cleaner in the music room, and another on a fan in living room my wife uses.
The sound was much improved, most noticeable was the tone was more...
BTW The Silver CleanUS is next for me to add to the setup. I'm certain it will make a difference in my setup because of electric system where I live is very noisy. When I had my LP setup, my routine was pick out the albums I would listen to that night, then do the 20 step process to clean...
My quest, same like yours, has me moving and changing things in order to see what works, and what does not. Overall the biggest gains I have achieved are via improving the grounding in the music server room. The Server, powered by a very good LPS, and that LPS connected to a power conditioner...
I've played around with streamer before using a Mac Mini with power supply removed and powered by a LPS. Although not a final solution it gave me some ideas of what streaming could do.
My OPERA Consonance DAC can work direct with a NAS media server (via direct USB) but I decided to go the full...

Perhaps if I had discovered the magic of grounding when I still had my LP system, I might still have it. At the time, there wasn't a big enough difference for me to keep it. When I moved overseas, that was the final blow and sold off my vinyl collection. I'm happy with the hirez streaming...
I tried myself to get a Daiza and wasn't successful, so I ended up with a similar product sold out of HK. It's popular in Asia and I have several. It's called the VTB-2 Vibraboard. They do work well but I cannot say if they are in the same league as the Daiza.
Planning to upgrade PCs in my music server room. The LPS and Power Conditioner PCs to Esprit cables. Music room already already has full Esprit loom, but the SERVER room has been neglected. The Power Conditioner and LPS are both using Shunyata's (Venom V10). Curious if anyone has upgraded...
You have choices.
1. Add a Tungten Vibbeater
2. Add a Peak 4 or Everest
3. Add a Nano + Hook connector adaptor.
4. A combination of the above 3.
I'm uncertain which will give you the most bang for your buck. The Vibbeaters are cost effective.
Expressiveness is a good indicator that the system changes are effective. It seems every time I improve my AC grounding on my front end music server, it takes another step up in expressiveness. Saving up for a Silver CleanUS and ground box, which I intend to use on the front end server.
I was not expecting much, but my local dealer had them so I figured I would just give it a try. I got the idea from watching Entreq Asia promo video. The vibbeaters on top of the speakers and ground boxes help as well. Little bits of refinement. I'm in the process of replacing all the...
I just recently added some of the Entreq Macro boxes for grounding the negative speaker terminals at the speaker end. My dealer had suggested it would make an improvement. Sound is a bit less grainy, more focused, and more delicate. A small but worthy upgrade. I added some spare Everest knobs...
For those that have purchased Vibbeater and put them on top of your Entreq ground boxes, what size did you use? I'm trying to decide which size to go with. Entreq Asia suggests Mini, or Midi size.
I had some more time to play with the Vibbeaters and as others have said before, they work well on top of the Entreq ground boxes. Adding one of the Ultra Apollos on top of the Olympus Ten T, resulted in more body in the presentation. I only have the Ultra's now, so I don't think they will do...
No doubt that the Triton is a step up from the Apollo. The timber and nuances of the instruments became more real and natural. I believe I am also hearing more subtle things in the background as well. This is all with just a few hours of the Triton being in place. The Vibbeaters will...
