    Aurora speaker...coming up

Finally got to install a pair in my demo room. To cut it short: does it deliver to expectations? They absolutely do!! Really. The fact this pair comes with the optional Bluetooth module that allows a passive adjustment of bass level, midrange level, tweeter level, crossover curves, etc...

Do Tubes Homogenize the Sound of Our Music?

Hello Bonzo, interesting view that is being launched here to only base opinions on mobile phones! To avoid further discards, would you care sharing with us which phones you deem worthy to use, possibly which recording app to use or not, etc? oh, and before I forget, can you also mention if it...

    Best overall cartridge

BTW, i have a 10.5" FCL tonearm and, as a dealer for Primary Control and although I could have requested that, I did not want the arm to be tailored to the (pretty exclusive) requirements of the DAVA alone, for obvious reasons.

    Best overall cartridge

I thought the DAVA Reference had a lot of details and sounding organic and dynamic at the same time, until i heard the Atlas Lambda (and Opus One)... So, I got the Atlas SL because i wanted to be able to keep on using my +18dB SUT. Again, i attribute a lot to them being able to extract more of...

    Best overall cartridge

For me and in my system, the Lyra Atlas Lambda SL on the Primary Control FCL tonearm is the best of the bunch I tested. That bunch included the Lyra Atlas Lambda, Phasemation PP-2000, Opus One (Airtight), the Lyra Etna, Dava Reference and Dava FC-A1 The Opus One was excellent as well, more of...

Hi, a new pair is expected in November at the Ultisone demo room in Belgium! Always welcome if you are in the neighbourhood. Even a comparison with the Aries Cerat Symphonia will be possible with a full Aries Cerat amplification of course

The top chassis weighs 75 kgs and the bottom chassis (PSU) is 25 kgs, you can of course put them side by side as well.

Alsyvox - Hi end Munich 2022 - your thoughts

A bit late to reply on this post but thought I'd post a picture of the show we did in the Netherlands with the Essentia monoblocks from Aries Cerat with the Taiko Extreme and the Primary Control Kinea sources. Regarding your comment on getting an integrated to drive the Botticelli, it is...

AC Preamps: Impera II & Impera Signature

As I don’t think the audionet is true balanced, I would therefore say RCA. If I am wrong, then better to have a Impera Reference with true balanced out option installed.

Ianus Essentia, TriodeFet amplifiers are out

The reason for the new preamp 'Ageto' launch, is primarily is the lower gain that preamp has.by default as the Essentia has a lot more gain (between 20 and 24 dB depending on tubes) than the big tube models from Aries Cerat. So, there is less gain expected to come from the preamp. The Ageto is...

DaVa FC-A1 a field coil contender

Indeed. However, as i failed to tell Bernd that he shouldn't put a screw that is too long, such longer screw was used (of course). After a long warm up period, the screw started to touch the inner windings with some serious hum as a result. As i couldn't immediately locate the problem, we had...

DaVa FC-A1 a field coil contender

Hi Bill, I have the Kinea direct drive turntable which evidently fits either arm perfectly. For the DAVA, I used to have the ss PSU and got the tube PSU a few months back. A nice upgrade effectively but the cartridge itself already plays very good with the standard PSU. In other words, I would...
