    Klaudio Record Cleaning Machine Review

Both our silencing box and the disc auto-loader use the Aux power output on the rear of our LP cleaner. We don't have a good estimated price yet for these products, since quite a bit is still being adjusted from the prototypes. Both should be available this summer. The auto-loader won't fit in...

KL Audio Record Cleaning Machine vs Audio Desk Systeme

Thanks, Christian! As Gary mentioned, a larger funnel may cause the wash basin to overfill if air doesn't escape the reservoir quickly enough. This is something we're rethinking in the future, but for now, it's dependent on how the priming pump supplies water to the basin during the cleaning...

    Klaudio Record Cleaning Machine Review

Yes, it's more about maintenance of the machine. We haven't seen a noticeable difference in cleaning performance between distilled and tap water on the LP itself. This might be due to the relatively high transducer wattage (not needing a surfactant, etc). Tim

We're still working on this and our 10-inch adapter. There was a slight delay in manufacturing, but it's still our intention to get both of these available by Dec. Tim

    Klaudio Record Cleaning Machine Review

All of our photos, including before/after with a microscope uses tap water. We originally suggested tap or distilled, but we can't control a customer's water hardness. If you don't have a high mineral content, tap water is fine. I would keep an eye on it, and drain and allow the unit to dry-out...

    Klaudio Record Cleaning Machine Review

It's not a concern. Dirt in the grooves is essentially pulverized by the cavitation action, and presents no risk to the disc at that point. Most dirt is composed of lightweight matter (dander, hair, fiber, etc.) any way and won't affect the vinyl. If there are heavier particles, they tend to...

Klaudio at RMAF & 7" LP Adapter

For anyone interested in a cleaning demonstration, Klaudio will be attending Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (Oct. 11-13) at Booth #14 in the Marriott lobby. We'll be handing out coupons to RMAF attendees, and displaying our upcoming 7" LP adapter! The two ultrasonic cleaning units we're bringing...

It works for both currents. Just flip the voltage switch on back to 230V before powering-on. Tim

    Record Cleaning Machines

Our design favors changing water to changing filters, but you don't need to do this after each LP. Every 100 discs could be a guideline. It depends how dirty they are. We have a large window in front with LED lighting in the reservoir, so it's easy to check for debris. We've cleaned several...

    Record Cleaning Machines

The only recommendation I would give is not to place a disc in the cleaner that shows any signs of cracking. I suspect this is true for all ultrasonic cleaners, but there can be a higher risk of exacerbating damage if already present on the LP. Tim

    Record Cleaning Machines

I agree that cleaning quality might be the hardest factor to quantify. We have some methods in mind, but we'd prefer to have 3rd-parties post their reviews first. If an experienced ear doesn't discern much of a difference, that's perfectly fine. We still maintain there are several other features...

    Record Cleaning Machines

We've responded to Analog Planet's review, which I'll paste below. We've also posted testing photos here, which provides one method customers can use to validate the cleaning safety of our product. Hopefully this will minimize some of the speculation. Tim

    Record Cleaning Machines

Thanks! This extends to the internal components as well. The wash basin's priming pump is a Koolance PMP-300. We also placed an auxiliary power plug on the back for some secret future products. ;) Tim

    Record Cleaning Machines

I was afraid of sharing links too soon on the forum. The only owner I'm aware of who has posted comments has been Mike: http://www.whatsbestforum.com/showthread.php?41-Record-Cleaning-Machines/page20#195 . We have some 3rd-party reviews pending, and I hope we can get other owners to start...

    Record Cleaning Machines

I work for Klaudio so I'll try to answer some of these questions without sounding too spammy. Officially, our name is "Klaudio", like the name "Claudio" (with a K). KL certainly works as an abbreviation, but our company isn't "K.L. Audio". As Mike mentioned, our system is designed to be as...
