Is this an issue? Never ran across this before? From Marantz SA-10 CD/SACD player manual.
Balanced phase can be changed on remote. NO need to rewire balanced pin out.
How do other manufactures handle this?
Another “what’s best” thread that that leads to no agreement, because cable choice is dependent on power amplifier and personal taste.
I have listened to Magnepan IIIa and 3.6R speakers with ribbon tweeters every night since 1987 and never found the sound bright ever!
I do not buy bright...
The 20.7 goes down to 25 Hz in the bass. I see no need for a subwoofer at all.
Most all subwoofers are box speakers and mate poorly with Magnepan‘s excellent natural bass sound quality IMO.
Perhaps you like dry punchy bass.
Time to reconsider warm tube-like solid state gear.
I always thought newer ARC gear was more SS sounding than their older gear from late 80’s and early 90’s.
The older gear runs on still available NOS tubes.
I just bought a 2021 Sony Bravia HDTV and there is a setting for picture off accessible on the remote.
Works great for Apple Music and Amazon music when you do not want to display artwork when listening to music playback only.
I use a good d/a converter via optical from the tv, and the output...
Anyone that bought old iTunes low rez albums, or listens to low rez playback on Spotify, or YouTube, is not an audiophile.
Every album on iTunes today is CD or higher quality .
There are luddites even on WBF.
1). reel to reel tape. Back around the 80’s I heard a John Curl modified Studer, 2” wide, 30 ips, two track , 2nd generation Mark Levinson Jazz recording play back and it was the best quality playback ever. The sound field just jumped in realism. This was at a store called the audiophile...
Tube rolling in ARC equipment before the 6H30, made the sound "custom favour" to the listener.
Not like today's "no tube rolling" current ARC products.
Here is a link to Joe's excellent review of the Less Is More YGGY.

Less is More YGGY arrived Today.
Sounds great right out of the box!
Smooth, clear high frequencies, warm midrange, deep bass.
Will have more to report after it settles in for two weeks!

Yesterday Schiit now announced two new Yiggdrasil models to be sold, alongside the current original Analog 2 model.
Three "flavors" to chose from.
Both models priced at less than the current analog 2. All three now have different D/A converter chips...
No balanced tape output is a deal breaker for me! I need that for my Stax driver amp. Same as the XP20.
If they can have balanced tape out on the X1, why not the XP20 and XP22? The chassis is the same size.
The XP32 and XP30 are three chassis ...too many for me.!
I am just suggesting Audiophiles try the Chang products.
I am very impressed.
Does the Shyunyata filter or PS audio regenerator have any specs about the 5th harmonic? NO!
I have used PurePower AC regenerators and the Chang products are superior IMO.
Regenerators do not generate a perfect...
Do any regenerators, the Audioquest filter, or your Elgar, claim to reduce 5th harmonics that might be on the line?
That has not been measured, or discussed at all, in this thread.
Does the Elgar reduce harmonics on the line generated by fluoresent lights in the house? NO! Just shutting...

Just as effective at reducing noise, absorbing voltage spikes from lightning, adding a 3D, and super quiet sound , in addition to power factor correction, and attached low inductance power cable.
Isolates between two power amps, and digital...
In every review of Magico speakers in The Absolute Sound magazine, Valin compares them to lower priced Magnepans, and concludes the Magnepans are closer to his concept of the absolute sound.
So much for the idea that the higher price speaker is always better!
That is why I feel it makes sense to stay only with the ZYZ cartridges that show up on the official ZYX website.
I really do not trust Mehran at all.
Accurate reviews are dependent on the setup skills of the reviewers, on the right arm. I only trust my own setup skills and ears, in my system...
