Excellent - I'd look forward to it - you can hear the MusicMaker MI cart as well. I'm liking it so far. I'm not especially busy atm - so maybe next weekend?

I used to own the ADS, and now own the KLA, so feel I can speak to both. I mainly have old, and in some cases, fairly grotty records to clean. Not much new classical being released to vinyl....
After much back and forth I feel the KLA does a better job of cleaning the grooves than the ADS, but...
I like my ESL's and have heard stacked pairs in the past +/- subs. I suggest that the 2905 (when they are working - QC is a problem) is a better overall (more coherent) speaker than stacked ESL's . But there is something about the mids of the original ESL's that for certain music - vocal /...

Thought I would drop back in here and apologise for the virulence in my posts - I was obvious stressed and upset. Suffice to say I have sold the H3000 to someone in Melbourne who, after replacing the rectifier tube, is very happy with it. It suits his ears very well.
Not sure I would...
Saw this last Monday with my wife. What a lovely movie. I dunno - I liked Dame Judy just as much as Kate Blancett in Blue Jasmine ( which I found quite self indulgent by Allen).
Steve Cooghan did the screen play.
2 Thumbs up from me.

Great post! and of course defer to your experience. I was posting about my general impression of Nagra, so in hindsight could have bene leading the OP completely off track.
I'd say get demoing! - if you have access to those great brands, borrow each for a week and see what you think.
Cheers

I don't think you should be heading down the Nagra path if you are after sweetness and warmth. That isn't how I would describe Nagra. More insightful, transparent, dynamic, super clean and slightly on the ..errr...cooler side of life.
I haven't heard the PH 6 - so cannot comment.
What is the...
Nope - no axe to grind - I was just putting down the facts of my experience. More fool me for buying on reviews. As I have said - all power to the people that like the stuff - just not my experience.
Most people that spend 10-12k on a piece of gear (or in my case 17k on two pieces) don't tend...
You were defending the brand you sell while at the same time advertising yourself by extolling the virtue of "good" dealership support. And criticising me for good measure. Nice.
@Microstrip - glad you have had a good experience with Lotus and Allnic. I wouldn't go near Lotus after this...
All well - there you go - perhaps I had a dodgy unit, or a tube was on the way out or something, or we hear different things.
Anyways - I repeat - all power to the folk that like the Allnic gear. Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade..
I thought the H3000 brightly etched and lacking body when I had it. It was flat and without any depth or body, veiled is a word that comes easily to hand.
It wasn't all bad - on occasion it sounded ok to me. Esp with simple music. But mostly just... ordinary.
I have heard the Ypilson SUT in...
Guys
I know you all love your H3000's and more power to you. I'm not trashing anyone, or questioning anyone's buying decision's.
I'm speaking from my direct experience after ponying up nearly $17,000 to buy into the Allnic brand. My conclusion...I just didn't think the H3000 or the T2000 were...
