Here is a screen capture from the CH Android App for the C1 playing a DXD file (352.8 kHz).
So far I haven't experienced any dropouts or other problems.
So far I have only tried two DXD files. I had no problems with either but I will test further and let you know.
Maybe it's a network bandwidth/throughput problem.
I'm using the CH C1 as streamer/renderer connected to a DS214 Synology NAS through a gigabit router, both powered by a 12V linear...
New Firmware available for the CH Precision C1 (version 3.5).
Don't know the changelog but 352.8 (DXD) and 384 (DXD) are now supported through network streaming.
CH Controller Android App (V1.0) also launched.
You can now setup/control the C1 from your Android device (Phone or Tablet). Simple...
Same here, using the Trinity USB input.
Everything works except no sound. :(
The Trinity info shows up on top of the Aurender X100L display and if you try playing a high res file (24-96/172/196) on the Aurender, the Trinity changes the color of the led indicator on the front panel...
Audiocrack,
the only USB cables I've tried with the Trinity were the AQ Diamond and Totaldac d1 USB cable/filter.
I've read very good things about the TIM Ref cable but didn't try it yet.
The differences btw the AQ and Totaldac cable are not profound but they are there.
As I said...
Yes, I heard differences in my system using the Trinity with the Totaldac cable compared to other USB cables.
The Diamond I used before seemed darker sounding, with less resolution and also a little bit slower on transients.
AFAIK, the d1 USB cable also acts as a USB filter removing any...
I have limited experience trying different USB cables on the Trinity.
I had the Audiquest Diamond and now have the above mentioned TotalDac USB/Filter cable.
To my ears and system the Totaldac cable sounds better.
It seams more open with more resolution. After hearing the Totaldac the Diamond...
AFAIK, the phase inversion switch changes (inverts) the absolute phase (=both speakers) on a recording.
The cone movement (on both speakers) is inverted (outwards vs inwards) during music playback.
Some recordings are made with inverted (absolute) phase.
The switch is there to correct this...
Dear Microsrtip,
let us agree to disagree. :)
I just didn't understand the need to make price comparisons in order to make a point about "black background" or system synergy.
I will never have to explain or argue if I agree or disagree about a system comparison because I don't intend to...
AI M,
I'm sorry if I misunderstood your post.
I agree with you about the importance of system synergy and can I assure you, I've spent long hours over the years trying to find the right combinations.
I just couldn't understand the need for you to mention a "price comparison...1/10th of...
Thanks Elberoth and Wisnon, for all the valuable information.
I guess I will have to get a CAPS with 2 PSs ASAP to try with the Trinity :)
Thanks again.
I wish to thank you all for the welcoming messages !
Elberoth, thank you very much for your suggestion.
For now I'm using a laptop with SSD playing on batteries. I will try to find out more about the CAPS server on CA.
I've read good things about them. Problem is, I couldn't find any...

I would like start by thanking you all for the valuable information, knowledge and opinions I gathered here through reading your posts over the years.
I would also like to thank you for drawing my attention to...
