At a dealer event in the U.S. two years ago, in response to a question from the audience, Mr Nishikawa estimated the future price of the AF0 at $300k+ so the latest news above isn’t that surprising.
He talked then mostly about the AF0 motor and I haven’t heard much about the rest of the design...
Interest in 12in SAT
Another market for the 12” SAT is TechDas AF1 and AF2 turntable owners who can only fit a 12” arm in the second arm position.
- Michael
This is just an Air Force One (AF1) Premium, with a Tungsten platter and an Air Force Zero (AF0) motor in place of the standard AF1 components. I believe this configuration has been shown before. TechDas has announced that Mr. Nishikawa will be at this show to demonstrate this configuration...
Relentless at Munich
I heard yesterday that the Relentless will be on static display only at Munich.
I will be at the show and will try to get a few good photos of the amp.
I’ve owned the D’Agostino Momentum Integrated for 3 years. I purchased it based on it’s sound quality driving Magico...
From the manual of my Air Force Two:
Auto Power Off Mode
This is a function to prevent abrasion of the stylus. When this mode is activated, the turntable will automatically enter standby mode if the 33 1/3 button, 45 button or Stop button is not operated for one hour.

"I now have the only AF 1.5..."
Do you believe your's will remain the only or do you think TechDas might offer the bearing and platter upgrade for other AF2s?
My Audio Dealer
In 2016, I traveled to L.A. to attend an event at The Audio Salon that brought together Hideaki Nishikawa (TechDas), Bob Graham and Marc Gomez (SAT) to have each present their design principles and product lines. To my surprise, the most memorable encounter I had at that event...
1. Sound - Another vote for the SAT. In my experience, no tonearm has made such a dramatic improvement over its predecessors.
2. Ease of Installation - I didn't find that much difference in this among the tonearms I've owned (Graham Phantom, Kuzma 4Point, ClearAudio Universal, SAT). I much...
Yes, you adjust VTA by loosening a screw, turning the dial and then retightening when done.
Rigidity and stiffness are primary design goals for the SAT.
SAT on TechDas
Here is a picture of a SAT installed by my dealer this past weekend.
Both the tonearm and the table are much more "substantial" than any I've owned in the past. I think they match with each other in that sense pretty well.
The dealer had been trained extensively in setup...
I'm not sure if this AF3 review has been posted here before...
From a reviewer who has reviewed all 3 models:

When a long-time respected turntable manufacturer begins to market an active isolation product, it lends additional credence to the positive prior reports of Rockitman and Mike L, no?
The latter.
From descriptions of the SAT and professional reviews posted by
Fremer and others, I felt the improvement over the Elite would
be more significant than the step up from the AF3 to the AF2.
I did attend the premier of the AF3 where the SAT was
demonstrated, with the AF1. I...
I just made such a choice.
For about the same price, I could have chosen:
1. AF2 + Elite
or
2. AF3 + Custom HRS + SAT
I chose #2.
Dealer should be here in a few weeks to install.
I used Q3s in my system 2013-2015.
I replaced them with S7s September 2015.
I find the S7s have a different voice, in my system.
Much more weight, which I like very much.
Sound less strident in the upper frequencies. Which has
resulted in me listening to more digital. I like that...
I've had S7s in my home for almost 5 months now. They replaced Magico Q3s.
I find myself playing Rock almost everyday now, where I hardly played any when I was using the Q3s.
Three possible explanations occur to me:
1. Impedance curve of Q series was brutal, for just about any amplifier...
