Aries Cerat Ianus Essentia Owners thread

I concur with your findings. My preference with Quintessence is dual E280Fs and dual 6J11P-Es. Single E810F is also nice. All combinations are nice by the way. My only remark with the 6J11Ps would be the large variations in bias as the grid voltage changes during the day and night.

Taiko Audio XDMS - Extreme Direct Music Server Software

I also had the latest server update related to Qobuz SQ installed recently and i can also confirm that Qobuz now sounds to my ears smoother and more analogue than before . The streaming sound quality is on par with SSD playback in my system. My preference even before doing the upgrade has been...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

+1 : Ed @EuroDriver is a fantastic person and very professional. He was available on New Year's day to install my NSM as well as the following days to assist with a flashing ASIO driver in Roon around 23.00 at night his time . Great asset to the Taiko team !

Taiko Audio XDMS - Extreme Direct Music Server Software

Maybe that was in a previous version of XDMS server/control app?? Now it clearly works by just stopping the music, toggling and replaying. The difference is quite audible between default and alternative .

Taiko Audio XDMS - Extreme Direct Music Server Software

No need to restart the server, just stop playing , toggle , restart playing. On the fly it doesn't work.

Introducing Olympus & Olympus I/O - A new perspective on modern music playback

Emile, the 2LPS of the Olympus are they going to be similar to the GaN FET DC-DC ATX module? Aren't these in essence switching power supplies/regulators and not linear?

Introducing Olympus & Olympus I/O - A new perspective on modern music playback

Emile hi, if Aries Cerat and Lampizator eventually adopt XDMI natively, should we owners of their DACs postpone buying now the XDMI card/AESEBU SPDIF until this issue clears up because the final digital connection might be different and we will need to buy the XDMI digital output card...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Hi Christiaan. I understand this but since the router takes internet from WAN and has multiple lan ports, unless someone uses its extra functions (wifi/access points/NAS etc), will it not operate essentially as a switch on the network ? I am not suggesting these two are interchangeable but in...

Taiko Audio SGM Extreme : the Crème de la Crème

Emile apologies if this has been answered again , since the Taiko router takes internet from WAN doesn't it actually operate as a Taiko switch, so in what differs this solution compared to having a second Taiko switch i.e. Taiko router > Taiko switch VS Taiko switch > Taiko switch ??
