    SET amp owners thread

My LAMMs are my clear favourite................the UR are something I use from time to time (with the Stradivaris) and will always keep, being left over from a different setup. The amps I use with the 0/96s are Line Magnetic LM 518iA, Viva Audio Solistino, Almarro A318B, Cary CAD 300SE...

    Lamm's with Stealth cables

Have used Lamm amplification for 19 years and frankly I haven't found anything (so far) I prefer to Stealth Sakra with my Lamm L1.1 Signature/ Lamm ML3 Signature. Used them when I had ML2s, ML2.2s, LL2 Deluxe and L2 Reference. Still use a couple of Indras for CD replay, but in my system quite a...

Any Lamm ML 2.2 owners with non Lamm pre?

When I acquired my original ML2s I had a CAT Ultimate for some time and they were terrific together, but I moved on to a L2 Reference and the synergy was just that much better. Have retained the L2R through upgrades to ML2.2s and recently ML 3 Sigs.

Who are the contenders for the BEST SET Amps for $15K or less?

    +1 for second hand LAMM ML2 or ML2.1 or LAMM ML1.1 , plus a LAMM LL2 Deluxe pre-amp. Also try to hear a Viva Audio Solistino 845 based 18 w integrated - about US$12K new - stunning.

    Lamm ml2.1 on CLX

On reflection I do recall a conversation we had following your reading of Art Dudley's comments (which I had read as well) and I'm pretty certain he was referring to ML2s and ML2.2s - it was just after the release of the ML2.2s. I replaced my my ML2s with new ML2.2s in late 2014 and I was amazed...

    Lamm ml2.1 on CLX

Andrew, They were ML2s not ML2.1s. Have indeed used ML2s and latterly ML2.2s with Summits (in my environment of course) and have never been disappointed. Nevertheless, as you are probably aware Stradivaris remain my speaker of choice with Lamm. My first listen to your CLXs after humping them...

Follow Up Thoughts Re Sigma Power Cord Review

Thanks for welcome...........I am a long term Lamm ML2/L2 R/LL2 D user (17 years), recently changed up to ML2.2 and included an LP2.1 D . Also have had Shunyata products for 10+ years, so my interest in your site is obvious. I actually thought you might have been using a DAC as well. I was...

Follow Up Thoughts Re Sigma Power Cord Review

Steve, do I take it that the recommended option is to use a Sigma Digital on one's transport and a Sigma Analogue on the DAC? I am considering Sigmas and have until now always used the original Anaconda Vx (Constellation series) on my transport and an Anaconda Alpha on my DAC..........I have...
