DXD sounds fantastic to my ears. I have a few of their albums on CD as well; Up Jumped the Devil....Discovering the music of Robert Johnson part 1. A Sound Liaison 'One Mic +' Audiophile Recording. it's very well-mastered by Frans de Rond but I find Sound Liaison the DXD download superior

I looked it up. It is created from the analog tape master with an RME dac to 768. But it also seems to be a one of as the new albums are ''only'' 32/352.
Thanks for posting! :) I like lots of music from the '80. But I do think that the pop music tended to have the same gated reverb sound on the snare drum and the constant use of keyboards with a limited dynamic range as well as heavy compression sonically did not help the sound. But I like...
Those one mic recordings are amazing. Carmen released a youtube video of the alternate take. I guess seeing is believing I saw a on facebook that someone claimed the recordings were fake, that Carmen and her band were ''play backing"!
Well if so they are damn good actors and the recording still...
