    Ordering a Bokrand Tonearm

I really can’t understand why you continue to say all your potential clients that their tonearm will be ready in the next 2 weeks as the whole audiophile community knows now this is not true, and this can’t be possible, because - you work alone, -with low margins that can’t make possible to...

    Ordering a Bokrand Tonearm

Alfred, If only you just choose to tell, from the beginning to all your customers « I have to warn you that the waiting time is xxx months long », maybe some would say No thanks : their choice, and you wouldn’t care about that because money is not your priority, but the ones you would make the...

Is Low Power FM a Rebirth of FM Radio,New DaySequerra

I think you should also look at Accuphase. These guys are very skilled in the art of making good tuners. It seems the 1200 is in the very top sounding ones, and technically it’s a top also. I also read Accuphase US importer has significantly lowered the prices, so maybe you can dig this path...

Is Low Power FM a Rebirth of FM Radio,New DaySequerra

I had a fully upgraded Sequerra 12 years ago and it was great. I compared it side by side with a Naim NAT01. Sequerra was the best in sensitivity by far. Also you can check the reception with the scope and adjust ( but I was always adjusting it and became a bit obsessed...). I don't need to...

+1 for the Wallytools. For such a system it is mandatory in my opinion. And JR is always willing to help if needed.

    Using Wally Tools

Maybe you should set up your carts for 150gr records. Many records made in the 60’s are 150gr. It is a compromise of course but maybe the least one.

    Kuzma SAFIR 9

Just an idea to share : every record collection has some warped records (I mean playable). I don’t know why but often this concern applies to the ones you love to listen . The use of a periphery clamp seems to be at risk when not used with the tt they are made for by the manufacturer. So I’d...

    Air Tight ATM2 PLUS

In my opinion the fact that the ATM2 « eats » the tubes comes from the non tempo applied on the power tubes when you switch it on. Don’t understand why they did it on the ATM3, but not on the ATM1S and both the 2 and the 2+. Another problem for such a high priced amps is there is no rectifier...

    Air Tight ATM2 PLUS

At that time I also had ATM1 and my old ATM3. Except that the 3s fitted the M40.2 Anniversary better, I much preferred the EL34’s sound. But that’s me.

    Air Tight ATM2 PLUS

Thé ATM2 plus comes with its own tubes (selected Electro Harnonix). When you switch with NOS and KR KT88, the sound is better.

Any one using Acoustic Revive devices or Acoustic System Resonators?

For my part I’ll try the two-hole facing the speakers. As I ad SC’ I don’t want to dampen too much. Let’s see how it will work. Turning 1/4 the SC will be quick and easy

Any one using Acoustic Revive devices or Acoustic System Resonators?

Adding too much Sugar Cubes creates a sound pressure that invites you to step back. Go Step by step and see when too much happens, then go back until there’s a balance in feeling the music without overpowering the sound pressure. English is not my native language so I can’t explain better.

Any one using Acoustic Revive devices or Acoustic System Resonators?

I can’t agree more. I have these for years now. The experiment is boring in the beginning, but if you don’t give up you are paid in return and it worths the pain. The AS have the advantage of not being exclusive and you can couple them with over ambiance tweaks like Bybees or Stein Music. Don’t...

    TW Acustic AC1

Have an AC for more than 20 years. The first oil was a spray. When I upgraded to the BN platter and BN bearings, Thomas Woschnick sent a new oil in a little plastic container. It looked more greasy. From time to time I re-order some oil and it seems always the same. I rue-oil approx twice a year...
