@jasond,
If I recall, I changed the fuse to a slow blow (T type), 2 amp. SR Purple.
To be frank i just had a spare one and seemed semi-reasonable value to use. As my previous switch was consuming around 1 - 1.2 amps when connected to a 12 volt supply.
Now 2 amp is probably a bit overrated if...
Hi Ken, it was great to read your findings.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy holidays....I forget that it's that time of the year because it's barmy weather season now in Australia, severe hot temperatures, hail the size of golf balls, cyclones, serious rain, bush fires...etc, etc.
I’m being generalist, so please read my comments in that fashion.
yes there many usb “sticks” that help to cut noise (i have not tried too many). generally there seem to be two types, ones which have an output port and ones that don’t. The one with an output you plug the dongle into an usb port...
Nice one mate ! Bit of a relief that I did not mess up in my recommendation of it. Enjoy it in good health, keep us updated.
It will be on full song in 6-7 days.
Hello @fast.freight & @luca.pelliccioli, the Muno Pro arrived this morning (Tuesday 12pm midday here in Australia as I write this), I'm going show my cheeky side the say the freight was fast from UK, sorry could not resist. Happy Tuesday !
Initial thoughts with the M.Pro just before my streamer...
Hi @KPC - you are most welcome, hopefully some of the information I posted helped somewhat as well as others who have posted on this tread.
Interesting product that SR Router.
What I found is that if I doubled up on the switches, one switch after a standard router feeding ones audiophile switch...
The tempus is a universal voltage (remember it's a switch mode power supply so will work from 115v to 240v). But here in Australia the voltage is 240V.
Hi @jasond
I use a rather nice power cord already - I use a Vertere HB mains power cord terminated with the latest Furutech NCF plugs, and the power cord is then plugged into a power conditioner.
On the last switch (Edision) I was quite surprised the effect a proper power cord had - so no going...
Hi @luca.pelliccioli, thanks for that, Yes, I'm aware of the CAD USB control. It's just that it was easier to get the Telos in Australia and cheaper. The only thing the Telos needs is an Active USB port to work with. Now the CAD does not require an active USB port, and since my CH C1.2 does not...
A small update from me. I tried the SFP on the Tempus as I mentioned yesterday. Not too much to report, expect that on direct comparisons with ethernet, I found it a touch soft (lets say the notes just a very small touch rounded, but thankfully not remotely sterile).
Now at the same time I...
A small futher update from me, I was talking to NA just a short while ago and they said that the power supply is curicial to SFP performance and they done a great deal in the Tempus. So we were chewing the fat so to speak and Rich said try the SFP.
My pink faun has an SFP card, so I got out the...
@luca.pelliccioli
Hi Mate, thanks.
I recommended reading this thread. I posted my finding on the Ethernet cables I use. (I don't have any experience with the Muon Pro cable). I think i have experience with the Pink faun Ethernet cable (I think I may have quote that in my post).
(2) What...
@jasond
I think the tempus has fully settled in now - I can't seem to detect any changes after 6 days of continuous use. When I posted my second impression, I though the sound was quite rich and organic and possibly just a smidgen dark, I think it was just going through an adjustment phase. The...
Hello Alan,
Maybe I can help. Generally I found that SFP is very good connection and used it myself for a while. But on checking with a few people they preferred Ethernet (if implemented well) as personally when listened critically and compared I also found SFP a little lacking in emotional...
Hi VIMH,
I "only" have the tempus and not the Muon Pro in the system. I was trying to get a demo of the Muon Pro from the local Australian distribution - but they never responded after I called them a couple of times. I think I'll need to investigate the Muon Pro once funds allow and get it...
Hi jasond,
This will be a semi random set of events – so please bear with me.
I started my Audiophile network switch journey many, many moons ago. Initially I went through normal customer grade switches that were ‘modded’ for audiophile use.
Then in recent times I bought the dedicated built...
I already have it, Its is bloody fantastic ! (I’ve been running it in for 4 days constantly now).
it easily better the Edison Creation (extreme version) switch, which I've had for over two years. Basically much more detailed and very (sorry about using this word) analogue, rich and organic...
Hi CK,
Wonderfull news, it’s marvel is it not ? that a clock card should such a effect.
I love it. My enjoyment of music has greatly increased, my system has been on a seriously long as I can’t stop listening, I’m not doing any domestic chores, spending too much time listening to music.LOL
I’m...
Well my new Clock Sync card arrived today. I installed it, replacing the ‘old’ sync I/O card.
I am suitably impressed - well worth the upgrade - since I don’t have a output chain, I disabled the BNC outputs on the card (It also meant to increase sound quality).
Just various changes lately...
I also followed up with Boris yesterday (Australian CH dealer), to ask him to get me one. I’m just waiting for Boris to confirm my order. Very much looking forward to getting it.
it‘ll tie in quite nicely with my recent C1.2 upgrade as well as the GPS module For the T1 clock.
Looks CH has updated the ‘old’ sync I/0 card to the new Clock Sync card.

A small update from me, I‘ve been happily using my C1.2, I never did buy an X1 as i had a power conditioning which seem to improve the C1/C1.2 so about 5 years I got a T1 (without GPS) instead. Then today my GPS module arrived for my T1, it took seriously long time for the GSP signal to sync On...
Hello,
I recently bought the Crystal Cable DaVinci Ethernet, which is the newest release from Crystal. I have been using it for a few weeks now.
Today to get a handle on the sound, I replace the ethernet cable from my music server with Vertere HB to the switch, then from the switch to CH C1.2...
Hello all,
My CH C1 finally got upgraded to C1.2 status, I had a 7 weeks wait for it to be done. Nothing to do with the distributor/dealer. As I live in a totally different state to the dealer, to save on shipping expenses the beast over to another state (likely hood of damage or loss) , I...
Hello,
One can read the full Stereophile review of the C1.2 on the CH Precision web site, reviews section.

Well folks, my dealer just informed me my upgrade kit has just arrived, what a bummer I can’t take it now as I’m going on holidays this coming Friday. My dealer is in another state, so will take a couple of days for the kit to arrive, so did not want to risk it arriving after I’ve gone on my...
