Transparent Opus Gen 5 vs Transparent Opus MM2 mini review

Has anyone heard anything regarding the Transparent Audio Generation 5 series being updated? It looks like it is due, based on their previous refresh cycles (dates sources from the TA Website) G1 - 1993-1997. 4 years. XL - 1997-2001. 4 years. MM - 2002-2008. 6 years. MM2 - 2009-2014. 5 years...

Anyone with big, high current amplifier(s) find a power conditioner that doesn't destroy the amplifier's virtues? Is it even possible? Which Ones?

I received my Torus AVR2-16 last week, and it is truely amazing. Bass response has significantly improved, midrange soundstage is so much more present and the highs are silky smooth. Honestly I am really impressed. It is now the foundation of my system.

    DCS Vivaldi

I would be willing to invest in the current Vivaldi 'IF' DCS would release a firmware for at least a DSD512 support. I assume they will, but they would also want users to move to their new series.

    DCS Vivaldi

Given the upcoming release, is it still worth considering the current Vivaldi DAC? Or is there competitors which have caught up since the Vivaldi was released all those years ago. I noticed they still have not released an updated for DSD256, even though they have stated the HW is capable of...

Transparent Cable - is the wire the same?

There is a significate price jump for the same wire but a different tune on it. I was expecting more for ~2x the price. Reference Level Pricing 1M Balanced Interconnect - $5,600 10ft. Speaker Cable - $8,070 XL Level Pricing 1M Balanced Interconnect - $11,000 10ft. Speaker...

Transparent Cable - is the wire the same?

I was speaking to a dealer today who suggested that the actual wire within each of the lines are the same. The example provided was within the Ref and Ref XL are actually the same wire, but the network boxes are different, with the XL having a more precise tune. Is this true? It was also...

    Sasha 2 vs. Alexia

Two seperate systems. DD15 is with the Alexia speakers, but only used for HT with the Bryston electronics F110 is with my Troels Illuminator Monitors bookshelf speakers. For music I don't use a subwoofer.

    Sasha 2 vs. Alexia

I just upgraded from the Sasha v2 to Alexia. Th Sasha's are a great speaker, but the Alexia is superior is every way. I was doubting that just by having a 8/10" instead of a dual 8" would make little to no difference, but it's more than just woofer change.
