    Sorry to chime in and i don´t know the Vitus, but one of the strengths of the TAD MK2500 mk2 is speed. I also do have the combination Zu Druid VI driven by Atma M60, which are known for speed and the 2500 Mk2 is as fast driving the TAD CR1.

Yes, you can turn PLL off but in my system using PLL and spdif is far better than usb and spdif without pll. with PLL turned on i don´t hear the beginning of the songs, really annoying...     I just wanted to test both and my experience is that the braided design is a bit more forward, engaging. I think this is because of the lower inductance. Resolution is good with both designs. And all solid core designs are more precise than any stranded designs i tested before, i tested copper...
