I have a TrueNAS Scale NAS that is sitting on a different VLAN (146TB array, hosting VMs, Kubernetes, etc). Any sense if this is going to be equivalent to your tested Synology to the Taiko router given the degree of processing noise?
@Taiko Audio Emile - based on this, is there any difference...
Is this in addition to the system drive? Or is it all on one drive? What I’m getting at is that it might be more efficient over time to acquire an approved U.3 drive ourselves for those of us who are technologically proficient and swap it in. If this is also the system drive then that would be...

My system has recently taken a large step forward, and I wanted to share a little bit of the details. As I reported in the Taiko system thread here, several months ago I finally approached what I feel is decent acoustic treatment for my room, which has a semi-vaulted ceiling and...
Agreed. It’s all about synergy and what the best performance mode of your amp is. I have used it in both modes and there’s not much difference. The amp’s preferred mode is going to be the much larger factor.
Steve, I agree. I followed your lead and am very impressed with "alternative" setting in XDMS-NSM. The standard setting was significantly less compelling in my system.
Thanks Angus @lscangus !

Happy New Years all!
Just spent some time getting the Nanocon triggers up and running. Just had full success with my monoblocks, so wanted to report - @viola in case you find some of this useful.
I ordered male and female Nanocon connectors from Mouser -

QSFP (quad SFP and not QFSP btw unless this is a new Taiko acronym) is duplex/bidirectional. I have a couple in my basement connecting my server to the 40Gbe switch. Only 1 cable needed to the server.
Happy new year everyone!
@Taiko Audio - what is the likelihood of having a XDMI XLR balanced analog output stage ready near/around Olympus launch?
I think many of us have that question...
Wow. Kudos. I'm not nearly as crazy as you are but thank you for that amazing writeup of your work on this.
I put down a few absorbers on the floor along the audio path and it really did improve the ambience/hall image last night.
Did you test panel absorbers vs panel diffusors specifically? Do...
