This is a Michael Bay's flick, and this one is not based on a true story...it's all pure adrenaline action/adventure/imagination.

Going through this last night I had zero clue what kind of ride/drive I was in for...total unknown territory.
It sure is high octane very polished action with screaming colors and decors and cars and girls filling the screen with an energy that is toxic, very.

The story? What story ...
There is one but here (for me anyway) it is secondary. For more on that please just watch the film...you'll understand much better.
Film value: 50

Technically (visuals and sound effects and CGI) this is where it's all avant-garde, ultra modernized, a paradozidiac feast of hypnotic visuals married with synchronized sounds matching quasi perfectly, but to great effects. I mean that, in a total radical way. Did you ever see 'Domino' from Tony Scott (Ridley's brother who took his own life jumping off a bridge)?

I was transfixed on many action scenes and pulverized of mesmerization.
But here's my problem; I love all the action stuff...car's chase, guy running from building to building, cars crashing, luxurious decor sets, architectures, locales, good looking women, ...and the way the sounds are intertwined with some off those scenes...sometimes in slow-mo, reverse mode, etc.
So, what's the problem then? It's in the camera's movements; it's always jumpy, broken up, shaking shaking shaking.
And that, is my main personal problem. If it wouldn't be so shaky I would have been more happy.
But this is what the film director intended, so I understand where he is coming from.
Still, for technical merits (with a slight headache): 80 (visuals & sounds).

Overall: 65

Last word: Watch @ your own risks and perils. I am still recommending it (65 means that) to see what Michael Bay can still do with all the props; car chases and crashes, locales, sets, flashing colors everything like ultra high end audio porn and highly veneered and polished luster carbon fiber loudspeakers. If you can make it through, and I think you will because if I can you can too.
What you'll end up with @ the end, that I don't know for sure...perhaps some strange headache, or you'd be asking yourself; what did I just watch here! It goes real fast and that's what it is, and when it goes slow that's when your head can relax for a brief moment...but even then the camera work is still highly stylistic, and shaky. Rarely it is stagnant and fixed, like stand still. After all, this is a high octane action flick Michael Bay's latest camera's style and all ...

Woohoo, fasten your seatbelt ladies and gentlemen, and don't blink for even a fast fraction of a mini second.
