I need to retube my ma-1 amps and am torn between Svetlana winged c 6as7g and brand new old stock 6080 tubes. Gravitating to the 6080.

Which sound better??

I would stick to what Ralph Recommends, I have a bunch of NOS RCA and other 6AS7G Tubes which are supposed to sound even better but not tried it on my Nirvana Amps.

thomson csf-6080wa are the tubes I'm considering. My dealer has a large quantity and they have great reviews. They are from the 1980's and made in France not Russia!

I have. They work, but expect a high failure rate.

Which 6080 did you try please ? The WA is rugged version and should last longer.
