Hi Ron,

I don't know them off by heart; It is a custom build by Ralph. I believe it's either 120 to 140 watts per channel. I have owned the Novacron and prefer these over then Novacron hence the reason why I sold off the nova.

They look beautiful, but I honestly never cared too much about how Audio Gear Looked. However, these are by far the best looking and sounding Amps Atma-Sphere has produced. I have owned, The S30, M60, MA2 and Novacron before these Nirvana.

They will drive 4 ohms load but I honestly think they sound better on 8 Ohms. but sound even better on 16ohms.

On a 16ohms speaker like the Classic Audio Field Coils, it's Simply magical the music just floats in the air effortlessly. no sign of Strain, grain and dynamics are off the charts. Its smooth, Transparent and sounds magical.

They are much faster sounding them all the Solid State or SET amps I have owned before.

They are 120 watts into 8 ohms. Full power from 2Hz to 100KHz within 1/2dB. THD is about 0.5% when the amp is set up properly (this can be affected by tube choice since it is a zero feedback design). Its nice and quiet so no worries on speakers with 105dB efficiency. It runs regulated power supplies for the driver high voltage and filament circuits.

Do you tweak the design if someone wants to connect a 4 ohm kharma DB7-S to it.

It should be about 125 watts.
That's a bit strange why only a 5 Watt Jump into a 16ohm speaker when the M60 jumps up by 15 watts into a 16ohm load?

Hi Ralph, the specs look like an MA-1. Whats the difference in parts, tubes or design that separates it?

Thank you, it is a beautiful looking amplifier. Ralphs best work both in aesthetics but more importantly in sonics.

It uses beefier power transformers designed for that amp. There are no options - IOW its 'fully optioned'. It uses regulated power supplies to help reduce noise- its nice and quiet even on speakers of 105dB. Special low ESR caps are used in the power supplies. Overall the amp is overbuilt in nearly every way.
