Hello,

I have B&W 800D for a year now and the finishing around the tweeter already crack and peeling off (see picture in attache). I hope they will fix it well.

I have to say that so far I have found B&W customer service to be second to none. Hope you get it fixed soon but it looks like you will need a whole tweeter assembly, last time I checked it was about £450 for the diamond variety (not sure which yours is).

One year old should be well within the warranty period.

That should be covered under warranty, unless you struck the tweeter assembly with some object or dropped the speaker, etc. (something that wouldn't be covered).

Dealer said it was under warranty and it was consider manufacturing defect but I have to wait for two months to get it fixed :( . Sad to have a speakers like 800D2 where B&W always said quality to be second to none.

I had N800s for around 12 years without any issues. I am surprised by what I read here.

I have B&W 801Ds that were produced in the last year of 801 production, I believe 2010, and have had no issues with the tweeters.
