Basics of Amplifier types: Class A, Class B and Class AB

Solid state transistor amplifiers are commonly built out of class AB and less often, class A. This is a good basic tutorial on what the means from electrical design point of view. It is done for electronics hobbyists so maybe a bit technical but watch it anyway as he outlines their characteristics in layman terms:
