Concatenating repetitive ambient audio files (so no audible join)?

I'm trying to concatenate (join) and audio file to continuously play over a couple of hours and so that it does not seem to have any joins in it.
It's a repetitive ambient sound piece that does have similar sections throughout it but I don't know how to effectively joint/concatenate it so that it sounds like
one continuous audio file without any interruptions.

Can anyone explain to me how to do this? Can this be done with Audible?
Thanks

I don't think it's possible in Audible. You can do that in Audacity, Reaper, or an other DAW. You might need to watch a tutorial or two for that. Or you might want to hire somebody on Fiverr for that.

1. Drop the song two times on the same track separated in time.
2. Bring them close together. You might need to do some volume automation, so the transition is seamless.
3. Copy the result and connect it to what you have.
4. Repeat until you have a length that you require.

I use Merging Technologies Pyramix which allows seamless integration of files. Definitely a pro software use - DAW. Takes a bit of training, but quite straightforward to use. Not a cheap purchase, however. Larry

I seem to remember having been reasonably impressed (lucky?) with the output of two short snippets combined in TEAC Hi-Res Editor meshing on both ends with no silence.

Overall the program that works best with your hardware is the correct solution for a reasonably quick job.

Thanks for the answers, and sorry for the late response.
I'm a little surprised this is so difficult to achieve I admit.

Can i just ask, is that a feature of this platform to allow you to do that?
