Cork mats

Both my TT's have what I can describe as a fibrous mat that sticks to the record when I lift it.

Are cork platter mats any good? What do the experts here recommend? I use peripheral and spindle clamps.

Really depends on the platter material: aluminum, glass, SS, copper etc. Some work better w/o a mat at all.
Oyaide BR-12 is good with lighter platters. Anachromat works well on some. Leather, I have had succcess on SS platters, though SS on its own it pretty good with central & peripheral clamps.

I believe my Music Hall has an acrylic platter, quite thick. I’ll investigate some of the replies here. Thanks for the input.
