CV4004 same as the ECC83½ and 12AX7?

Chaps,

I have to replace the pair of 12AX7 in my power amp [Berning ZH-230]. I found some NOS tubes listed as "Brimar KB/AD CV4004 ECC83½ box plates valve NOS (V29)". I think that ½ box plate is just a type of anode construction but not sure about it.

Would it be fine if I purchase them?

It sounds like an unusual description, possibly to denote ladder anode construction.

Only Brimar made these half box plate ( ECC82 and ECC83 )( I will say two third plate ) and have three versions, First version with Black plate square getter.. Second with Black plate Round getter....Third with Grey plate Round getter..there are plenty of better sounding ECC83 out there, I'm not recommended.

I've been using CV4003 & 4004's boxplates for years. What is a half boxplate?
