I was considering ordering a new tube amp and was wondering if any one has had any experience with Decware amps, especially the TORII MKIV or the Zen Mystery Amp, it is hard to find any reviews but with a lifetime warranty I am willing to give them a try since they are all hand made with no printed circuit boards just point to point wiring.

I have experience with both amps. I have a Torii MKIV with 25th anniversary mods. My Brother Has a ZMA with 25th mods.

The Torii MKIV is my favorite piece of audio gear I’ve ever had in my listening room. Once upon a time I had a whole VTL stack powering Wilson Maxx 2’s and transparent cable for reference.

I’ve not heard the two amps in the same system. As my place is on the other side of the earth from my brothers.

Decware is a great company and are a pleasure to interact with. After getting the Torii MKIV I ordered CSP3 w/25th preamp and ZP3 w/25th Phono + a few other things from them, every piece has been a joy.

Thanks Groovy, that has helped me make up my mind I will be calling them to order the TORII MKIV, the only bad thing the wait is now at 20+ weeks, but all good things come to he who waits.

Yes, the wait is brutal but well worth it. What speakers are you going to be driving with it?

I will be using some older Acoustic Research AR308HO bookshelf speakers, and I will also try my AR312HO floor standers
