Hugh Masekela passed away yesterday. RIP Mr Stimela!

Neil Diamond had retired from touring due to his worsening Parkinson's disease!

Both greats! May you rest in peace Hugh. Your "choo-choo" song is one of my reference pieces.

I just saw that Hugh passed away....:( :(

I saw him live in Cape Town several years ago...the Coal Train was pretty amazing 'live'!!

RIP Hugh Masekela.

So sad to hear another death of a great artist.

My fave track from him is Minawa, from Home is where the music is, which just about says it all for us WBF members.
Wonderful piano from Larry Willis and sax from Dudu Pukwana, I think it’s better than Flamenco Sketches from Miles.
Such an emotional song, turn it up.
