Last Fall I bought a pair of A-7 boxes in decent shape with a plan to
reassemble a pair. After a change of heart I sold them to friend who
is more than capable of the resurrection needed.

Today I visit his finished product for the first time. Listening 3 ways:
1. A-7 only
2. A-7 with sub
3. A-7 + sub+ room correction

#3- no surprise- sounded best. He used an ARC 100 wpc tube amp for power.
I have to say for an ugly speaker the sound is amazingly good.
He did a lot of work reinforcing the walls and filling the cavities inside
with insulation. Not much ringing left now.
Now I have to build something even better!!
