Has anyone compared g1 vs g2 for the contriva or sunray? I know the newer models have a better denser cabinet. But any thoughts on the performance differences between these two? The g1 models can be had for quite a good price compared to new g2 models.

Hi TR, to address your question at least regarding the Contrivas, going from a G1 to G2 is a little like going to a more capable CPU
in older computers. For most applications, you'd probably be more than satisfied with the older version; the new one might be overkill even though it'd be nice to have. Depending on where you reside on this planet, I might have a lead on a pair of Sunray G1's. PM if interested.
