Based upon what you have for your arm and actual viewing…..

The engraved alignment marks are not parallel to the cut perspex long edges and are thus also slightly of angle against square to the aluminium bracket…[cantilever will be at an angle to square] [not parallel to the aluminium bottom and not 90 degree to the upper]

Based upon looking at your own CA-7 10….is this correct ........or do I need to correct it to be square to the Frame and holes for the arm [manufacturing error]

…easy to do by re adjusting via the screws…

Am aware that the CA-7 is arm length specific…my 9 engravings are parallel



Have asked Bob…appreciate he is busy……

Graham's spindle adaptor and cartridge alignment jig that comes with tonearm have extremely high tolerances/slack which makes precise overhang adjustment impossible. IMHO it's better to use a universal protractor.
