Have I posted in that thread?

The post in the tread is just fine. But on the new posts page there is no symbol indicating that I had posted in that thread.

There is, but it's itty bitty. It's a little red push-pin.

I see my avatar in miniature in the bottom right corner of the avatar for the thread; it's pretty obvious to me but maybe just because I know to look for it. And if your avatar is small or blends in it also might be harder to see.

The little red pin on the right indicates a sticky thread.

Weird, I guess I've just posted in all of the sticky threads!

Maybe it's the eyeball then?

One thing I ran into on another forum was a member with a similar concern. In that case, he was using the "back" button (as I often do) to return to the previous page (the one having the thread list). In that case he would not see the thread he just posted to earmarked until he refreshed the page. That is normal; may or may not apply in this case, Kevin.

No, I'm aware of reloading or refreshing a page when going to it from my 'history' list. But anyway everything works OK now. I checked on some of the older threads.

Way O.T.
I do a small speedskating web-page. But even when I do a major update to the index page, some browsers still show what was in their cache rather than the new page.

I’m no computer expert but iirc we had similar problems when we converted from one platforrm to another. Once we were aware of it in beta testing the issue was corrected.
