Dear members,
please let me introduce myself. Born in Munich, Bavaria I´ve changed jobs some years ago and moved to Vienna, in Musik and records since ages, in turntables and tubes as well. When I had more free time, I built my own tube amps, today I just don't have the time for that. Since then, I've also been concentrating more on the music and no longer listen to devices.

Nevertheless, I own a fairly extensive collection of top-of-the-line turntables, tonearms and cartridges from days gone by. This includes both stereo and mono formats. All these devices and set-ups are equal for me; each is fun and enjoyable in its own way

So I'm quite technically adept, but I'll stay out of such discussions and especially from the quarrels about the best device and will be found more with album introductions and music performances. Stay tuned; until then, I wish everyone happy listening to the music.

Welcome but I was hoping to see two little advisors on your shoulders. ;)

hi BR, assume 'Don Camillo' is just your moniker (correct me if i'm wrong). welcome to What's Best Forum!

of course, we need pictures of said top-of-line turntables, tonearms, and cartridges from days gone by.....when you get around to it that is. and you will be asked why they are equal and which one you like best and why......more than once. it's what we do.
