I have looked, but have been unable to find such a beast. Do they exist?

I searched the Jensen Transformer site, but wasn't able to find something to fit the bill.

A speaker level to line level converter is a "voltage divider network". Sometimes I make them for my subwoofer customers who need them, but I don't "manufacture" them.

There's very good information at the epanorama link in Kal Rubinson's post.

If your main amplifier has a little bit of DC offset you might need a coupling cap at the input of the voltage divider network, as DC offset can cause your subwoofer amp to go into protect mode.
