Shown during the Hong Kong Hi-end and AV Show last week.
The dealer demoed HSE, EMT66mk2R and Phasmation mono phonoamps in the same booth.

However I just had a very brief listen.
There was no comparison demoed at that time.

It was that display that piqued my interest. 82Db is a lot of gain available for low output MC. Wondering how it sounds compared to the EMT.

Both the dealer and a friend of mine who had compared the two said that HSE was obviously better.
However I didn't ask them for the details.

Interesting. The HSE is almost double the price of the EMT and about the same as a CH set of 2 P1 + 2X1.

Cool Howie. It looks like a cross between a Burmester and an EMT.

Are you going to hear one in your system?

Unfortunately not. A bit rich for my blood and I don’t know the dealer well enough yet.......;)

I would love to try an EMT though.

Tang. It's got beautiful gold knobs - surely you would know better than most that justifies the exalted price , especially in Asia ;)

I'm feeling that 70s/early 80s vibe.
A bit Sansui?
But not quite prices to match.

Wow! I can even see my handsome face from the knobs.

Is it tube or ss.

They might give you a big discount for that reflection
