Hello, I was hearing a "hum" noise coming from my system until I discovered it was coming from the DAC. I connected it to the power supply with a groundless adapter. Problem solved. Any comments? Thanks.

Hello, @Bushikai. The hum I had came from the Lampizator and was broadcast over the speakers, whenever I hooked it up. The hum did not come from the transformer when simply powering it up. The Iso-Max will not work for physical transformer hum. There are things that you can do to help thwart that from happening, but my experience tells me that replacement is the only long term solution for that, as the hum always returned on components where repairs were attempted. Not to say that permanent repairs aren't ever possible, I am just saying that I was never able to make any permanent repair on any that I have worked on.
That said, it the hum is broadcast through your speakers, then the Iso-Max will eliminate any hint of hum from ever being audible. The signal did not seem to be degraded at all when using this, in case you were curious about that aspect. It simply eliminated the hum.
