Still nursing aches and pains from stereo move. AS 2000 has not been moved yet. Latest distraction is my new sled. I have the land and access to a major trail system in The Adirondacks. This machine beats the crap out of you. It’s a hybrid...good on and off trail. 17BA8FFA-65DE-413D-BB23-004A45AD0907.jpeg 8AC3AE8F-D646-4FC4-9131-71FFE36FFC39.jpeg

An Assault model? That seems good to have in the forest!

Where are the side-mounted, electrically-fired, .308 carbines?

Structural floor support completed today. Now I can stomp, no skips. Both beams are attached with Hurricane clips at every truss that crosses a beam. CD3C8F15-E783-434A-96BF-2498DDDE9F50.jpeg

That looks like a very comprehensive solution!

So it looks like a beam, a 2 by on top of it and then engineered trusses
Why the 2 by on top of beam?
Why the hurricane clips?

It all looks like more layers of stuff that will move and squeak over time....

Hi Christian,

Assume the photos above are from your basement? It looks like a very big space down there. Did you ever think of your audiophile bat cave down there per chance? Presumably floors are concrete and you can blast all hours without disturbing wife.

Cheers

That was original plan. I prefer the sound of this large glorious wood and beam room with 24' ceilings. 8' ceilings don't cut it. Been there and done that for the last 10 years.
