Great interview, Ron! Very informative points from Art Noxon.

I have a number of their ASC products in my room. Among them: 4 IsoThermal TubeTraps stacked in the corners of the front wall behind the speakers, 2 regular TubeTraps stacked in the corner of my left window bay, an array of SoundPlanks left and right of the speakers, ceiling diffusers, Window Plugs, some TriPanels.

Absolutely essential to tame the unfavorable acoustics of my room. Great value for the money when it comes to level of sound improvement compared to gear upgrades.

Excellent interview Ron-so pleased to see Art getting some Air time for his Products . Having bought my first set of ASC's circa 1990 I can state I have not been without them in any of my listening rooms since and get a big recommendation from me.

Art and his team have always been extremely helpful both with correspondence and those "annoying" customer phone calls( Moi!).
Kudos to all at ASC -keep up the great work.

I have several regular TubeTraps. I also have four custom Helmholtz resonator TubeTraps tuned higher Q to a target frequency.

Absolutely essential to tame the unfavorable acoustics of my room. Great value for the money when it comes to level of sound improvement compared to gear upgrades.
I agree.

Best one yet, thanks Ron.

Art is the real deal, maybe the realest deal. And specific to treatment, my ears and measurements tell me so, which is why my diffusive panel of choice is the poly, really a wonderful and easily DIY'd treatment.

Thank you! I am glad you liked it!

It was a labor of love to finally get this interview with Art. When we still lived in the Bay Area I had him do my entire room with a total ASC treatment. I did it in many stages all designed by Art. Years ago when I started WBF and added the Expert subforum, Art was one of the first I reached out to as I knew he was a treasure trove of information. He was active here for a while and with some nail biting and arm twisting we finally managed to find a mutual time for the interview.

I’m glad every one enjoyed it. For those who haven’t read Arts subforum, here is the link It’s dated but filled with great stuff
